Its a perfect day today here .. sunny, azure blue skies .. not a cloud in sight .. warm .. just perfect

We had a client bring their little Puli to meet us, acclimatise to our home and garden and have a cuppa .. She arrived at 9am and left at midday .. and it was perfect for a cuppa in the garden.

Alas we have afternoon jobs so wont be able to do any work on the greenhouse today .. and the next two days are forecast windy .. so Trev wasnt keen to half do it and then have it blown to bits  so fair enough .. really want to get it finished .. and we have jobs all weekend and probably wont be able to get back into it till sometime next week. 🤞 weather permitting

Weve had to move our sheep on as we just havent enough pasture here .. everybody is suffering right now. We fed them hard feed all winter and its just not enough. Driving from here to town their are sooo many underfed sheep .. skeletal looking. At least ours were good size .. actually fat tbh .. but some farmers are not hard feeding at all. So the sheep 100 percent rely on grazing .. and there just aint enough pasture.

Hard feed understandably has increased in price. We were sourcing it for clients horses etc but weve backed off that job .. as its too hard to get and much, much too expensive.

Sheesh, went from Spring back to winter overnight it feels like. Both yesterday and today overcast and cold with chance of rain. At least it's Friday.

We've had some much needed rain. Its broken the long summer heatwave and so much cooler now.
I can get some work done around the place.

All the weathers today. Hot and sunny, cool and rainy. Thunder has been rumbling all afternoon, intermittent showers. The sky can make quite a show with clouds moving this way and that, opening up to blue sky and closing in dark again.

Ironically, it's cooler than the US right now.

Another lovely day today .. and we got the roof up on the greenhouse .. finally its functional.

A few tidying bits and bobs to do tomorrow and then we can set it up.

Supposed to be windy again tomorrow .. ugh .. hate windy days with a passion. But Im hoping it will not shred this greenhouse, like it did the last one we built.

Spring is definitely on the way .. as I have flowers budding in the garden everywhere .. I cant wait till all the leaves come back on the deciduous trees.

I don't know Sky; for me, mooching around inside on a rainy day has its own pleasures, not least the removal guilt for doing so if the weather were fine and bright! ;)
