I gave a presentation today to a VP of something and or another at his staff meeting. Power Point in 15 minutes,, type of deal. So,,It went well ,,applause but no request for an encore',,,oh well..The real feedback should arrive starting tomorrow. I said it, I did it,,It will be interesting. Half the room was in smiles and half the room was .. 8O . I guess thats the way I feel now.

I feel amazing. It's early in the am on a sunday and I just spent last night watching my best friend get married to the man that she loves. I cried the whole ceremony. I cried when they told me that they wanted me to be a witness and sign their cerfificate. I cried when she looked so beautiful, like she stepped of the cover of vogue mag at the hairdressers. I freaked when they asked me to make the toast about fifteen minutes before it was time. I did it and apparently I did it well, even the wedding coordinator and the hotel manager came up to tell me it was perfect. Mike's mom later came up and told me she loved me and that she was glad to have another daughter in me and that I am family now. I bonded with Mike's aunt who lives in the UK and since I was planning a trip she insisted I stay with her on her estate and we go to London for some shopping. Ann is amazing. She claims she is turning seventy about the same time that I am turning forty but she doesn't look a day over fifty. This is going to be so cool. I found out that my friends are gonna be in Dublin so I am gonna have to be all over England, Ireland and Scotland. I'm gonna party with with friends, visit family, old and new and have an amazing time.

I feel epic. I'm listening to the 1st movement of Beethoven's 9th in the middle of a thunderstorm.

I'm feeling...well actually I'm not quite sure how I am feeling.
I was witness to a very bad traffic accident this evening. Car vs motorbike right outside our front door. Needless to say the bike didn't win. The bike was crumpled real bad and the driver was under a parked car, not moving. I ran downstairs to tell people not to move him while my mom called 911. The sight I saw is one I will remember for a long time. It was not a good one.
So yeah, not really feeling too great. Yet very thankful it wasn't someone I knew lying there.

For any bike riders out there - please be careful - don't let that be your fate and don't speed :(

I am sad to report that my mother died yesterday after a brief, intense illness. She was 85 years old and lived a long and full life. She died peacefully on the Jewish Sabbath with loved ones around her.

Also my condolences MsMary.

My mom is 87 and is probably in better condition than I am.

I take maintence drugs for a couple of heart attacks I have had. Had 3 angioplasties and 5 stents. (the longest one is about 1 1/4 in (24 mm for the metric peeps)

Some days I feel good and other days, well not too good but I will survive. I have my nitro tabs in may car and next to my puter.
I rarely have a need to take one but it's an insurance for me.

Best thing happened to me was on May 15th. I retired from a job I worked at for 30 years. Now I am taking the summer off and I also get a monthly pension check. (I was considered a State employee and got the bennies from the time) Now the stress has abated a bit. (There's aways stress in one's life) I can enjoy the time off before I look around for a part time job..

Maybe a Walmart greeter!

Be like "Walther" from Jeff Dunhan's puppets..

"Welcome to Walmart! Get your sh** and get out!!"
:P

feeling pretty good. I got a decent amount of sleep last night, had a shower this morning and am feeling refreshed and relaxed. Unfortunately I have to be at work at 3. I think I've decided that I prefer working mornings. You just get up and go, theres no period of time where you get to relax in the house.
