Hail to All, New to Kevins Watch Here

I did say hi in the "Welcome visitors and new members" thread, but at over 200 pages (I'm on 203) I thought a real intro would be more appropriate here.
First of all, I was absolutely ASTOUNDED to find out that the Thomas Covenant series of books had been again continued! Talk about a dream come true!
I first found Stephen Donaldson and Thomas in 1978 when I was a senior in High School. I can't remember what posessed me to pick up "Lord Foul's Bane", other than I was always a wee bit odd. I was hooked! I anxiously awaited each new volume, and boy do I mean anxiously!
I was so crushed when I finished "White Gold Weilder". Not because of HOW it ended, but BECAUSE it ended. I had no idea there was any intention for SD to ever pick it up again.
Just by chance on another message board back in Nov.2008, (not so long ago) I saw a passing referance to SD and I jumped into a conversation I wasen't a part of, to say- Hey, if you aren't talking about Thomas Covenant you HAVE TO find those books. Heck, they were talking about some "Runes Of The Earth" thing. Thats how I got the big scoop.
I immediately ordered all available books to start all over again. This is the 4th time I've replaced the 1st Chronicles, 3rd on the 2nd. Obviously the first time for Runes and FR.
Right now I'm half way through Runes- and yes, I see there are different areas here for the different books- I would HATE to ruin anything for anybody! I'll be very careful what I say, where I say it.
So anyway, I have 3 kids, all girls, just the youngest at home. She's 14 and into the Vampire thing though she hasen't started in on the Twilight books yet. We actually live near Forks,Wa where THOSE stories are supposed to take place.
I don't know what else to say about ME- I'm not my favorite topic.
See ya'all around the Land, YAY
