Having just prepared some scratch spaghetti bolognese, I have opened a bottle of merlot and intend to enjoy a batch with some homemade garlic bread. And then I intend to retire to the verranda with a Hemingway Classic cigar and a snifter of Lagavulin on the rocks. Buon appetit!

Runts (a candy) and fruit slices (also candy). They're accompanying me during my late night DVD watching. Tonight I'm on disc 3 of Justice League Unlimited.

Sweet cheese danish from Au Bon Pain. I stumbled onto these yesterday morning -- the best danish I've had in quite awhile. They are my new obsession. (But it'll be a *short* obsession -- Weight Watchers starts Friday.

A custard filled doughnut - it's so good I think I'll go and get another one from the pack.

Oh Phantasm...that sounds wonderful.
What I wouldn't give for a decent custard, or even raspberry jelly, filled doughnut with superfine sugar coated over it right now.
Orgasmic.
*sigh*
Other than the Dunkin's danlo got, I haven't had a decent filled doughnut in years. Even my own attempts at sufignyot at Hanukkah are aweful. But then, I have never claimed to be a baker.

A chocolate and vanilla swirl jello pudding snack pack. I got them for Igor when he had his tooth extracted and there are still a couple in the fridge.

No wonder he needed a tooth pulled if you're stuffing his face with those things
