Promises Promises!
You should go take another mirror picture so we can see how you have aged....

I was just trying to work out how to use my laptop's built in camera to take a pic of myself now. But, alas, it seems to be purely for decoration.

Sorry as I know you are not going to cut your hair but HOT DAMN. Touseled and goateed is a look you should keep. It's not just HOT but hawt Hawt HAWT to the point of being one degree shy of spontaneous combustion. It makes me want to swim to England....

It's Thursday! I got a few chores done last night, not the least of which was finally figure out how to shrink a whole photo folder at the same time from iphoto. I also managed to burn a cd of all the raw photo files for Julie and Mike of their wedding. Yay me! Life is good.

My cold seems to be getting a little better. At least, I slept better last night and am a bit less sniffly.
And I'm doing okay on my practice tests, so if the real tests are similar I should pass no problem (I hope!).
And my daughter's coming home today!

Kinda busy here at work today, which is good as it keeps me out of trouble.
We had a bodacious thunderstorm last evening that knocked out our power. Luckily I had just finished cooking dinner, mere moments before. (We have an electric stove so it coulda been ugly...) The power must have been out for about three hours, because we had time to eat and watch "Juno" on Magickmaker's laptop (battery power!) before the lights came back on. It was out just long enough for me to begin thinking about how I would manage to cook all the meat in the freezer before it went bad.

But it's all good now.

Tired.
Counting on getting an extra day off next week, which is probably setting myself up for disappointment.

Nice picture, Covjr! For the record, I think the hair should stay.
I feel like I need to go see one of my clients. . . even though I'd rather go home and make dinner instead. Oh, to be independently wealthy. . .

I have a headache which is deteriorating into a migraine. bah!
My next door neighbour passed away yesterday. Kinda sad--although he was in his 90's so he had a good innings. He was a full of life, never let anything get you down kinda guy. Despite being his age, having bad emphysema and a whole lot of other ailments, he would still be out in his garden nearly every day, climbing ladders (even was on his roof a couple of months ago--he did knock down the ladder and have to get Mr Seareach to rescue him...but...). We thought he'd be around for ever.
On a completely unrelated topic: I'm glad it wasn't my Qantas plane that did this midflight

Rats about the neighbor-sounds aces.

I feel fantastic!!! My joint pain disappeared this morning and I can almost completely hear again!!! Looks like we're going to get an early afternoon monsoon rain so I think I need to get outside and do some weeding.
