There appear to be 4 stores in SF that carry the brand, at least one of which definitely does not have that color. One of the maybes is right near me, and I will check them out on my way home from work tomorrow.
That would be awesome, thanks! :yourock:

It's a long shot, but you never know.

Left my mother's after a few, very restful days, and I'm at my sister's, mostly to visit my son. Missing having my own family and my own home.

Everything in America is so clean, so pretty. I find myself wondering how I can go back to dirty, smelly, dangerous Jos. But that's where I live.

AATE is the perfect book right now for me.

I am certain I received a box in the post only in the last week, because I remember cutting it open. But I cannot for the life of me remember what was in it.

Sorry, Ali - I struck out. :( The place by me only had Vintage and Chunky, so I called the other two. One only carries Pashmina, and the other does stock Sock, but not in Rhubarb. Oh well. Was worth a try.

Maybe it was one of those flashy forgetty things like in Men In Black.

I second that ugh. I have to go for work in a couple of weeks to the St. Louis area. Fortunately, the White Sox are playing the Cards there at that time, so it won't be a total loss.

Where do I start?

(Note: Not everything. Not half. Plenty more to come!)

(Also, online sellers: Very wasteful.)

Edit: Oops, no, I was wrong. Almost twice as many CDs in there than I thought.

Batty's wrapping up a week here in the DC area. She stayed with her dad and his wife for the first part of it, then came here for a few days. It's been fun to have her around. :) Today was supposed to be the day that her dad took her to the DMV to get her driver's license, but they both (probably wisely) decided the 1st of the month would be a bad day to go. (Did I talk about this here already? If so, sorry for repeating myself. Can't be fussed to scroll back a page to find out.) So she's going to stick around for another week, work some more on parking, then take the test at the end of next week. Then she'll be here through next weekend, go to the dentist again, and then I'll take her home. Her teeth are falling apart big-time; she wants to get dentures but I think the dentist is talking about a partial denture or implants or something. I'll go with her when she goes next and find out what he recommends.

Bad teeth seem to run in our family. Both the ex's dad and mine had dentures, and my mother basically had no top teeth in the front. I just hate to see it happen to Batty. :(

Other than that, Magickmaker had a terrific time in Texas with her friends, and then came over here last night to not-really-but-kind-of ask for help with her rent payment. This was at midnight, so I didn't get to bed 'til 1:30am *again*. Can't wait for this weekend when I can sleep... :Z:

Ah, the delights of children. My daughter has a car again so she is visiting more often, which is delightful.

Just remind Batty that if she looses all her teeth now she will have to spend the rest of her life with dentures. She should try to hang on for as long as possible. I was 44 when I had the rest of mine out - gosh, my teeth are 15 years old!!

I've been stuck on a project for days now because the client refused to get a good webbhotell. Instead of getting the one we suggested, they got something else that sounds good enough. Of course, nothing works on this hotell- wrong file extensions, problems with limited usage, limited logged in user to one, limited.. everything! But the client wants to know why now is it so long time that we are taking on this project.

Fortunately, it is the weekend now! Unfortunately, I think I should work on this over the weekend anyway. :(

On the other hand, we went for SUSHI yesterday. nom nom... sushi! I had 3 pieces avokado roll, 3 pieces of salmon roll, seaweed sallad and 2 inari plus much wasabi. :D I love sushi.

Iolanthe, when your daughter comes to visit, does she hit you up for money like mine do?
