8O 8O 8O You have a 12" Newtonian telescope? Oh my god, you lucky lucky man. I'm thinking about spending 5000 AUS$ on a telescope in December.
Bah, just get a PS3! ;)

I'm feeling slightly frustrated that I can't seem to make up my slack on NaNoWriMo, but not too concerned. Also worried I may not have left myself enough time to get some uni work done tomorrow.

Also hungry.

Nice. . glad to hear it. :D

I just got slaughtered in Scrabble by Creator. . I am beginning to doubt my language skills! :D

Other than that. . a restful day. Still have to do a few chores around the house, so I guess I'd better get to that. :D

Language skills are only one factor... I've learned the hard way that putting one or two letters in the right spot will often get you more points than a nice long word. (Hard to adapt after so many years of 'old-fashioned' Scrabble.) (And don't take tips from me, I always come in last. :P )

I am... tired. Been up since 4 AM (which is typical), will soon be heading back into work until 11 PM. (Which is not typical, and worth complaining about.) Need to make a presentation to 50 people about holiday retail security. (Fun.) Ah well, it's just once a year.

Had friends over for lunch yesterday who then left at 9pm. We all had a great time (and drank far too much!). I'm trying to get excited about doing some work today...but would much prefer to sleep!

I feel stoked because I got a script from some people who can actually write/ understand humor, for once.

It won't make any money, but at least I won't have to spend my time clawing my eyes out in silent slavish complicity. They have talent! Jesus! This is a good thing!

w00t!

Enjoying your work is always a great thing--the best thing if you can get it! :D

My head feels like its filled with cement! Just a sinus headache but a bad one.

Good news is that I brought work home on Friday so I can still be kinda productive today and not feel so bad about missing work.

I have a lot of work to do today. I am feeling embattled. Will be working for MoveOn.org tomorrow to get out the vote on election day, though!

So I am excited as well.

Voting day tomorrow. My place of employment is a polling place. All those damned signs will be out front, and the creepy people trying to hand me flyers. And worst of all, where am I gonna park? With my luck it'll rain, and I'll get stuck on a grassy slope somewhere after all the people with the heavy equipment go home and spin my wheels all night.

*WHINE!*

Can you tell I have nothing better to do right now than complain? Guess it's time to go to class.

Great. Work has given me free reign to decide when I take my 6 weeks of leave next year. If I don't have my passport approved by the end of this month I'll head overseas next year.

Ah...winter is almost here.
Got a few Centimeters of snow today, and I don't have snow tires yet...had to tear the porch apart this morning looking for the ice-scraper.

Actually, I love it, we just started burning this years wood for heat...there's nothing like like wood heat...what with all the chainsawing and splitting and stacking (and re-stacking...and re-stacking) and spinters..but once you feel that fire heating up your house, it's so rewarding.
I was hoping to get my chiney cleaned before I started burning, but i'll just get a couple of really hot fires going..that cleans it out.
