No names need be mentioned...but one team didn't even break 45 points, and another team didn't even break 60?

Will somebody please let me know when the rest of the ya'll are going to get out of the diaper league?

And good score for you Brinn...at least someone else figured out a way to break 100 points.

And next week I get the Tom Brady-less Revelstone Lordsfire??? Heh, like taking candy from a baby.
Naw, the Lordsfire are going to mop the floor with ya.

So who plays me the week Dallas has a bye?? That might end up being my only loss this season!

I just dropped a player but when will I know if I get the replacement I picked?

It should happen immediately unles the player has to clear the waiver wire, which it would have had a date atteched to the player's name in that case. Or, if it's like the Yahoo FF league, you'll have to click 'week 2' on your team's page, as it has the habit of going back to week 1 for some annoying reason.

At least part of the reason I posted a whopping 45 pts was that when I tried to make a couple of roster moves last week, no matter what I did I was unable to edit. Turns out there seems to be some issue with Internet Explorer. I finally tried Firefox and viola, roster moves are being made. Sucks to post the least number of points no matter who I had set as starters.

Tom, I'm sorry to hear you had problems last week. I'm glad you found a solution, too. But honestly, this is a FANTASY FOOTBALL league; it doesn't mean anything in the REAL WORLD. If you win, fine. Enjoy the victory. If you lose, fine. Regroup and try again next week. The whole purpose of this is to have fun pretending to be an NFL coach/GM. One thing about real coaches and GMs is they almost always treat their opponents with respect; because in the end, they're a pretty small fraternity, and they all realize the game is bigger than they are. So, when I see posts saying stuff like 'our league is pathetic' written by someone who's name need not be mentioned, I see somebody who doesn't really play the game for the fun of it. And if you can't enjoy the game for what it is, then you probably shouldn't play it.

I had empty spaces on my bench so I tried to add three players I thought as in Yahoo they would add automatically but there is no add button just a claim button so now I have 3 waivers pending. So will they come to me eventually or because of where you are in the Waiver que some of you nice people will take the players I requested  :?:

I'm low on the waiver thing, and haven't made any roster changes anyway.

Oh...believe me (the one whose name need not be mentioned), I play the game for the fun of it.

I also enjoy the trash talking aspect of it as well. I think that it keeps it interesting. If every week everyone just said 'good game' and 'better luck next time' or 'tough loss' in my opinion it would take away one of the more fun aspects of fantasy football. And unlike real football, this is not a small fraternity (those who play fantasy football), so I do not really see how that would be a relevant comparison. We're all just a bunch of armchair quarterbacks who enjoy getting together in a selected group and try to beat the pants off of our opponents each and every week. Am I missing something, or isn't that the point in playing?

That's just it. It is fantasy football. It's not to be taken seriously. And if a little trash talking here and there offends anyone, then it is those who I believe are taking the game too seriously.

I don't know...maybe you would like a league where no one talks any smack and at the end of the year everyone gets a participation trophy, and there are no winners or losers. Make no mistake about it, I play to win...but I also play to have fun. If I lose in a given week, I'll take my lumps...but I will probably not stay very quiet about it.

So unless otherwise sanctioned by the powers that be, I guess that I may continue to offend those whose name I need not mention.

If you click "Players" you'll see your place on the waiver order above "Overview". The waiver order is based on the draft, and can change daily-If you pick a free agent you'll get that player right away.

I don't think anybody meant any harm by saying the league is pathetic (he said the same thing in the other league I play him in) it's just talking smack. They talk a heck of a lot more smack in that league-and week one doesn't really mean anything. ESPN (compared to Yahoo) is very hard to read and can be a pain in the ass.

...and I understand you pain and frustration, but just cuz my Saints beat your Bucs, don't take it out on me.

The last time your saints beat the Bucs in a season opener, the Bucs won the Superbowl. So, I assure you that loss didn't upset me in any way. I'm still trying to remember the last time the saints won the Superbowl, or even went to one; care to clarify that for me?

Well I know my team (along with last year's) is pathetic, so I thought it was funny...but no jel, aside from Brinn we're not that prone to talk much smack anymore...I don't think we have talked a lot of it in 4 years, if we're decreasing our smackage it may have to do with suffering "shell shock" from Hile Troy's Think Tank... :P :P :P

That forum still exists? You should rename it "The Hile Hole".

No....I cannot say that the Saints ever went to the Superbowl. But why dwell in the past when only the present is what matters?

Next thing I know you'll be talking about the good ole days when gas was $3.00 a gallon.

When your teams as good as mine it ain't called "smack talk" it's called "fact talk"!

Thank you...Thank you and good night!
