Exhausted after a full weekend of filming but also elated as well, just enough to motivate me to make a homemade lasagna for dinner....house is smelling delicious right now.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

It's looking like I might be up all night doing some work I should have done over the weekend, thanks to my procrastination. Starting to feel a little tired.
(Bad of me to do this. I kept thinking today that I should get the stuff done, or at the very least do some writing instead, but it seems like whatever I feel like I most need to do I just do something completely pointless instead. Like post this. Then edit it because I didn't think it was worded right.)
Erm... to make this seem like I'm doing something vaguely relevant, any of you folks know anything about transmission electron microscopy? Or alternating-field magnetometry? How about magnetic force microscopes?

I pick up the Wife at the bus station just after supper; she was away since Saturday morning...so I have about six hours to do about five load of laundry; wash every dish in the house, and convince the kids that Pizza Everynight was our little secret...Oh and I should probebly clear the history on the 'puter too.
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

Well I've gotten all the dishes done...Most of the laundry is washed, but it's all just sitting in a heap on the bed, and some of it is hanging by the fireplace drying...and the Internet Files and Cookies are now all completely innocent.

Good for you Drew, I feel tired but good and hopefully I will be able to summon enough energy to do some serious editing on Jwaneeta's ep. We are getting behind schedule again.

Managed to grab two hours of sleep this morning before the group meeting, where I was not actually asked to show my lab notebook for my supervisor to check over. Sigh.
Slightly odd feeling after I woke up for an hour or so--the whole left side of my body was slightly less sensitive than the right. After that was a smooth patch, then a couple hours later my tiredness had turned into a very mild--I might even call it pleasant, were it not an ache--headache. Which later turned into about half an hour of pain.
Now I'm just feeling slightly dizzy and tired.

Well, I was feeling alright the last couple of days so I thought I'd kicked this flu (I thought "wacko...that was short!") but I've woken up this morning feeling like death! What happened to all the normal kind of viruses we had 10 years ago when a cold was a cold and the flu was the flu and we were sick and then we got better...now all these trippy way-out cold and flu viruses doin' trippy things...coming, going, coming back for round two saying "ah, you thought you were getting better but now--KAPOW--take that auto immune system. Writhe around in agony and snot!". GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Ok, yes, I'll go lie down...take a panadol for two!

Oooh. . I love the Tempest. . and Patrick Stewart! Sounds like you had a wonderful time.duchess of malfi wrote: Still geeked up from seeing Patrick Stewart playing Propero on stage in The Tempest. He was born to play Prospero.

In my world, I've had a migraines 3 days in a row. They're not full-blown, just painful enough to make me grumpy and want to sleep all the time. I'm also feeling a little discontent about a situation at work (I'm afraid I might have done something relatively minor that may have bad ramifications later). And. . I've got to get myself in gear with holiday giving and suchlike.
Other than that . . . life is just fine.

Seareach, Lore, Murrin. . . hope you all get to feeling better soon.

Thanks, Sarge. I actually take preventative meds, and have intervention meds as well for the migraines. However, even with insurance the zomig is $6 each tablet, and the pharmaceutical company hasn't tested it for use more than three times a month.
I usually reserve the heavy artillery for when I am nauseous with the migraine, because then I know it is a full-blown one.
Anyhow, I was just feeling sorry for myself earlier. I took some excedrin migraine, and self-medicated with caffeine, and now feel better. Now I'm just awake. . .

Happy vacation to you, Sarge.
