Still can't shake this flu!

And I'm nursing my sore son: Son-of-Seareach yesterday ran full-pelt into one of his friends who were running in the other direction. SOS is bigger than his mate Charlie, and connected his mouth and nose with Charlie's forehead. Blood everywhere, SOS with a split lip and then this morning I noticed one of his top front teeth have been pushed in slightly, and he's totally ripped the upper inside of his mouth. YUCKO! Trip to the dentist is now on the cards! Life's never borning! :P

Poor Seareach! Hope both of you feel better soon.

Took yesterday off to take the cat to the vet for tests. It's bad: lymphosarcoma. Since I don't have $2000 for kitty chemo, looks like we'll have to have him put to sleep. I'm waiting 'til Batty comes home for Thanksgiving break tonight so she can have some time to hang out with him.

This is the third year in a row that we've had a cat succumb to a terminal illness, so I am pretty tired of having to Make the Big Decision. Our other elderly cat died in June 2005, and the little guy who came to us with the feline leukemia virus died the year before. I am of two minds about getting another cat. We have a young'un that we adopted right after Squeaker died who is really sociable and will probably tear the house apart if we don't get a playmate for her, but I'm just kinda done.

I feel like poop. Mentally and physically exhausted. I want to sleep for about a week, then follow that up with a nap. I want to eat but I have no appetite.

On the plus side, my daughter brought home a perfect report card.

So, so, so sorry to hear about this! Losing a beloved pet is never easy. And give it a little bit of time before thinking about a new one. . . you may surprise yourself. |G

Aliantha, sorry about your kitty! :(

As for me, still got this bloomin' flu and spent last night coughing my brains out (yay! ).

I'm off to the dentist tomorrow with Son-of-Seareach to have his front teeth looked at as he still won't bite anything with his front teeth and when I asked him to yesterday (and he did...amazing...he actually did what I asked him to do) he then spent ten minutes crying so obviously they're very sore! The dentist has already said that they probably won't do anything (given they're baby teeth) but I decided it was better to get them checked out!

Hugs to everyone...I'm in a lovin' mood...I missed ya all when the watch was down! |G

Ummmm. . . I was away, so I don't know whta you're talking about, but I'm glad you're here again.. . *hugs* :grinlove:

As for me. . my kitten died last night, and it rather bummed me out. I've been short of patience all day today, and emotional. And then. . . out of the blue, my ex-boyfriend emails me telling me he just broke up with his girlfriend and needs a friend, as he has no one else. 8O :?

And I miss my regular scrabble game. . so I'm all out of sorts and whingy tonight. Meh.
