My daughter has an assatar. Oh, the humanity....
Cag, feel better soon. This phase usually only lasts about three months or so.
Jenn -- any luck finding the car?

Someone must have cased it for a chop shop. It was almost finished with being rigged out for drift racing. Not much chance of recovery. Hardtop alone is worth about a grand not to mention the roll cage and the racing harnesses. It's a goner.

I'm sorry, did you say something? I was busy on ebay, bidding on someone's virginity, while looking at Aliantha's daughter's 'cheesecake' avatar.

At 39 I was using all my money to get rid of my remora-like ex-wife. The only thing she could suck worth a damn was my wallet.

She'll find it while she's walking the streets.

Well, you have something to fall back on.

Well that's what you get for dressing in that appallingly revealing way, Jennifer!

Has no-one told you that jeans and sweaters are the garb of ill-reputed ladies?

If I had on a miniskirt thigh high boots and a tanktop like the skanky girl near me on the sidewalk he probably would have left me alone.

I'm annoyed with my gas meter.
The new house has a prepayment meter, which is annoying anyway, but now it's not giving me gas. I put credit on it, and that's fine, but underneath the bit where it shows my shiny plethora of credit, it says 'OFF'. And there's no visible way to make it stop being off. That means I have to call the landlord and get him to call British Gas to find out how to work it (I'd do it myself but the account's in the landlord's name). Bleh. No hot water for me.

That sucks rancid alligator ass, Cov Jr. No hot showers.... ugh.

Oh, showers are ok, the shower's heated electircally. But no hot water from the taps. That means I can't wash the dishes properly. I suspect it means I can't do my laundry very effectively either, since I believe the washing machine takes hot water from the mains rather than heating it independently like the shower does.

That's the galling thing - it's not broken, it just cut off when I ran out of credit and has no obvious way of being reactivated. And I know the landlord doesn't know how to do it, so it's a load of hassle just to have some British Gas employee condescendingly explain how it works.

Gah, and I just realised that because I had to throw out some expired food earlier, I have nothing for dinner. At least the supermarket should be open all night today. If it was tomorrow I'd have problems.
