I don't really follow US politics, but Canadian politics are so, well, boring.

Ooooo, are the liberals going to vote against the RESP bill, and force an election? Probebly not.

Exciting stuff!!

Following US politics is kind of like watching Jerry Springer: it's trashy, flashy, you have to know how it turns out so you can talk about it around the watercooler, but overall - MEH.

I thought our political nightmare was just about to end come November?
That totally depends on who gets elected. 8O

My pet peeve: complaints that Canadian politics is boring! What, you need an assassination to make things interesting? Our Prime Minister struck down by a deadly donut? :P

Oh come on. It IS dull...

It used to be fun , when Mulrooney was in office, with all of the Mulroney bashing going on.
ANd Chreitien was a blast...
I'm too young to really remember Treaudeu, but It seems there was some good times there too.

But Martin, and then Harper, and Dion....even the guys on 22 minutes or Air Farce can't make anything out of them.
And when the Liberals posibley voting against their own RESP bill, even though they DID vote for the budget as big news, means there isn't much news going around...I mean I'm getting tired of the LIberal threatening to force an election, and then not.

I think I'm going to name the next animal I choose to purchase and love and bring into the house Peeve. Especially if it is a ferret.

Two Peeves:

1) When you flush the toilet, and it just swirls around and around, and doesn't go down.

2) Cleaning out an empty jar of peanut butter. It doesn't matter how much soap you use; how hot the water is; or how long you soak it...you'll still end up having to put your hand in, and scraping all of that old--now soapy--and soggy peanut butter out.

Me too. In the current recycling-minded age, I sometimes take flak for just throwing jars and things away instead of cleaning them and putting them in the relevant recycling box. But I have an ace of sorts. I used to work in Waste Management, so I know all too well that it doesn't matter which box, bag or bin you put your jars etc in, they all go in the back of the same truck and are then separated again at the other end by the staff. Justified laziness for me. Excellent.

ARGH! Yes! Right in the middle, leaving not quite enough space to pass them on either side. Grrr!

My current pet peeve : winter dry skin. I hate that I'm constantly itchy in the winter! And I'm just absentminded enough (well, my mind is on other things) that I never remember to put on lotion after I shower.

Ugh. I HATE dry skin. I'm just too lazy to put on lotion when it only works for a few hours.

My pet peeve right now is having no one to talk to when I finally have the time!

Putting the jar in the dishwasher does the trick for me.

Newest pet peeve: I've gotten all off-kilter on my sleep schedule, and can't get back to sleeping at night and staying up during the day. :(
