It serves it's purpose MsMary, starting it was a stroke of genius, I might add. Saved the rest of us from getting pinged by mods a lot. :)

Pinged by mods for thread drift, you mean? They can't very well do that in this thread. Drift is the whole purpose of this thread.

But in any thread, Thread Drift is Inevitable.

Uncorrected personality traits that seem whimsical in a child may prove to
be ugly in a fully grown adult.
Lack of involvement with the father, or over-involvement with the mother,
can result in lack of ability to relate to sexual fears, and in homosexual
leanings, narcissism, transexuality (girls from the waist up/men from the
waist down), attempts to be your own love object. Reconcile your parents to
you by becoming both at once!
Even Marilyn Monroe was a man, but this tends to get overlooked by our
mother-fixated, overweight, sexist media.
So:
Uncorrected personality traits that seem whimsical in a child may prove to
be ugly in a fully grown adult.
If you give in to them
Every time they cry
They will become little tyrants
But they won't remember why
Then when they are thwarted
By people in later life
They will become psychotic
And they won't make an ideal husband or wife
The spoiled baby grows into
the escapist teenager who's
the adult alcoholic who's
the middle-aged suicide. (Oy.)
So:
Uncorrected personality traits that seem whimsical in a child may prove to
be ugly in a fully grown adult.

Actually, just two years ago I caught him in a little bitty club here in Denver. I put it down as one of the best shows I have been to. I just wish the last, oh, maybe 20 minutes or more of his show was not all covers.

As a matter of fact, yes, he did cover Syd Barrett, but I couldn't tell you which one. But he credited him with the one what started the type of music he enjoys so much or something to that effect. As for the other covers, I can't remember other than there was a long string of 70's songs that he went into the crowd and walked around the entire bar which was densely packed and almost dangerous to do. Not so much for him, but for the others to make room for him and his guitar. The only one I remember for sure was Kung Fu Fighting because I laughed until I stopped. Oh, actually, I do remember another cover, and it was the best version of The Long And Winding Road from the Beatles I have ever heard.
