conflagration discountenance abyssal

In no way could Stuyvers hope to avoid the conflagration that thundered toward him through the night like a pack of fiery wolves, setting the trees ablaze as if they were meant to be nothing but nature's torches. He knew Tessa could see right through his feigned discountenance to the fear he was trying desperately to hide. He wished he could close the seemingly abyssal distance between them before the wolves arrived, but he knew even with death fast approaching that she would not welcome him.

platonic serendipity cryptic

"Our relationship is purely platonic." The words fell like body blows on the boy, who had just days before thanked the angels of serendipity for the chance of meeting the girl. His hope had simmered despite the cryptic messages that permeated her mannerisms, until that awful pronouncement suckerpunched him back into lonely reality.

cherub dogmatically hookah

My heart could not contain the utter uphoria, like a cherub was inside my very soul. It seemed so wrong, like I was dogmatically cursing myself, although I could not contain my happiness. Smoking marajuana rolled up in pages of the Bible, ranked right up there with using the ancient hookah of my great-grandfathers as a crack-pipe!

Dennis could not quite grasp the concept of scansions. But he realized that failure to turn in his assignment would result in a visit to the proctor. So to save himself another whipping he continued to forage through the library's collection of poetry books in hopes of finding an answer.

alga gimbals Skagit

Once, when I was fishing, I noticed a large rock in the riverbank, completely covered in a slimmy red substance, I was sure that this was an alga that I had never seen before. Though my fishing boat was small, I was quite proud of it, I even had the compass mounted on gimbals, so it had that antiqued look. Although I've sailed her on the Skagit river many times since, I've never again seen that marvelous rock.

reconcile sprightliness intrepidity

Asking Brinn to forgive the Chosen was like asking Lord Foul to reconcile with the Creator. All sprightliness left her as she realized that the rest of her agonizing journey would be under close scrutiny of the remaining Haruchai. Were it not for her newly-found intrepidity, she would have long ago abandoned herself to the companionship of her black moods.

subgum

Walking into the Draggon King Buffet, there was a lacuna in my stamach that felt like it was about to implode upon itself. The various appelations of the dishes were in the phonetic versions of their Thai, Japanese, and Cantenese names. Though I had a subgum, which tasted like an extremely well made Chow Mein, I felt too embaraced to ever return.

Rectitude Travertine Glaucomite

But there was one occasion which caused a serious blow to my well-held appearance of rectitude. I had happened to aqcuire a quantity of travertine for which I had no use, and my attempts to pass it on had some unfortunate consequences. You see, I had coloured it green and attempted to pass it off as glauconite.

The first time Saltheart Foamfollwer saw the Plains of Andelane, he was astounded by the endless, even amaranthine beauty of it. Wrapped in a pack, and held to his back with the giantish glutinous adheasive known as clingor was the first ward left by high Lord Kevin to now be retrned to Revelstone. This dividend of Keven's lore felt heavy on his back, even for a giant, but he carried the burden proudly.

The science artictle's conclusion on the sporophytes of common moss was regarded by the professor to be picayune. It was axiomatic that any study on this stage of bryophytes add nothing new to the field of biology. Indeed, the article had already drawn particularly vicious criticism from biologists and botanists.

Fallow decorum indefatigable

Sitting in gridlock, all my suroundings become follow, the traffic lights don't ven seem to change anymore, certanly no else is going anywhere either. I wonder what the proper decorum would be if I slammed on the airhorn, and let it blast about aminute or so, if anyone else thinks that they can make the next light, and end up blocking the intersection again. The roar of the engine is indefatigable, but it's lulling me to sleep, my left leg is cramped up from holding down the clutch; man I wish I was home.

Levitate Mitigate extrapolate

Darvon the Great hunched inside his cape and scowled at Detective Schneider. "Sir," the magician said haughtily, "I have successfully performed my act before royalty all over Europe. I have never failed to levitate the leviathon."

Schneider snorted. "Did you not extrapolate the possible circumstances that would mitigate the outcome of your performance?"

"Feh!" Darvon scoffed. "How could I know that the metallic walkers and wheelchair spokes would magnetize the great beast, drawing it from my control and forcing it to plunge down upon the recreational facility of that bunch of drooling geezers and gits? It is not my fault they were all smothered beneath the mounds of cetacean blubber!"

Felicity, Ambergris, hemoglobin

With felicity the whaler hoisted the harpoon and mounted on the fore-castle of the ship. "That sperm-whale" he yelled against the gale, "will have enough ambergris in her to make this hunt a rich one indeed!". With that, he erased all guilt from his mind, knowing the money from the kill would easily afford the hemoglobin treatment for his cloned slave army.

Missing Gerund Epithet

"You are missing my point," said the Contessa. "You cannot counterweight all of this, " she indelicately stabbed the speech with her talon-like forefinger, "your entire argument - with one small gerund." She spat an indelicate epithet and dragged her ancient brocaded bones out into the hall, leaving poor Professor Moorwhistle agape with dismay.
