I am very tired. I should go to bed instead of trying to catch up on my email.

I got home and there was a postcard from my Mom and Stepdad Steve. They were on the Eurostar train headed to London from Paris when my Mom wrote it. Either she's getting alzheimers or she was heavily buzzed because her handwriting was atrocious and she misspelled several words. Based on the fact that she mentioned that good french wine was so cheap my money is on the drinking guess. 8O  :D I'm so glad they are having a blast. It was my Mom's first time in France. :P

My daughter has an assatar. Oh, the humanity....

Thanks guys, I really needed a laugh right now! Its been a long couple of days. and at the end of the string of very long days and stressful events, two of my residents(who are roommates) are having issues, both of a personal nature, and with each other. I had to mediate between them tonight, and one of them has decided that it would be best if she moved out and got a room of her own. I still have to write a communication report on it, and I'm not looking forward to it, since the mediation took over an hour.

:haha: maybe I will....only, we live on the first floor of the building, so catching them at the top of a flight of stairs might be a little difficult.

yeah, he did actually push me off the porch a couple times. He had trouble catching me at the top of the stairs, I think, since I only went up there once. And I was very careful at Red Rocks.

Probably a good thing you didn't try it at Red Rocks though... 8O

Meh, they smell funny. And they're startled by everything, which makes the turbulent descent much less satisfying for the pusher.

I thought that "cow tipping" was the most fun you could have... (that photo looks just like the Republican convention! :P )

Oh, that's right....that's the kind of pushing you meant. My apologies. I got lost in the conversation.

Hang in there, Hami!

Today is day-before-moving day here at work. I have just about packed up everything -- just the tape/stapler/paperclips are left out. Plus the computer and phone. Needless to say, I've had to unpack several things this afternoon to take care of last-minute jobs....

It already looks like I don't live here, and I've got another hour and a half before I can go home. :(
