I should put up a big obese assatar to offset all the others...

I accidentally impressed a new customer this morning with the miata. I gave it a good drive to check for new noises or problems after it's ordeal. I got back to the shop and zipped in and there was a guy waiting so I did his intake and then he asked if it was possible to get a lift to 16th and Albion so I said ok and took the miata. I had to show him how to strap himself in to the racing harnesses and then zipped him over to his work. I realized about halfway through the conversation he thought I was the drift racer. I laughed and said, "Oh no, my friend is." As I dropped him off he said I should rethink not driftracing because I sure could handle that miata well.

have I mentioned today that I love my school? Over the summer, they invested in a sh-t-ton of 52 inch LG flat screen televisions. Really nice ones. Like, they put at least one in almost every building on campus, and several buildings have two or three. So, over the weekend, someone stole one of the televisions out of the Science building. And they sent out a blast email, asking if anyone had any information about its whereabouts.
Maybe they should secure these televisions better, and maybe they should think about spending their money on something a bit more worthwhile...like getting air conditioning in some of the dorms on campus(I live in the only dorm that has A/C), or doing something about the fact that the dorm I live in is sinking.

Boo hoo, no air con for the little students. Our 'dorms' (or Halls of Residence, as they're infinitely more elegantly named) often have one shower and two toilets between over twenty people, and anyone proposing air con would be laughed out of the town.

Seriously though, over here it's generally only offices that have air con, so griping about not having it in some of the dorms reads like complaining that your furniture isn't made of hand-worked diamonds.

do they hold the Human Anatomy Classes in that shower as well?

I expect they probably do, yes. When I was visiting (fortunately I never had to live there) I tried to avoid touching anything.

the local grocer now has "sanitary hand wipes" available at where the grocery carts are stowed..apparently with the same thought in mind. I can't figure out or begin to know ,,just how many colds, flues, and other maladies inflicted on mankind,,were facilitated in their spred across humanity by the lowly grocery cart.

hey, I don't really care about having air conditioning or not. Put a fan in the window! I'm just tired of people whingeing about it. But seriously, the building I live in sinks a little bit each year, and I think they should do something about that.
They do mostly call them residence halls instead of dorms, but I don't think it really matters. And we get 5 toilets, 3 showers and a bath to 25 girls. But one of our showers is a handicapped shower, and hardly anyone uses it...and NO ONE uses the bathtub to bathe in. Its used more often for cleaning out fish tanks and washing off dirty shoes.

Well...well...um......pants.
