We could do bar-be-cue and Rock Band, etc., Friday, and skip dancing, and then the cookout and the campsite Saturday after whatever we do in the afternoon...or reverse that if doing the bar-be-cue after a day of work is too much for cag and Carla...

Cameraman Jenn wrote:Yes. Looks like you, (dlb) and Sea and Damelon are all coming in around the same time with Sea being the first to arrive but she has to go through customs so by the time she's done you boys will have arrived. I am putting together the arrangements to pick you all up in Chris's van. The only drawback is the fact that you guys can't check into the Opal until three in the afternoon so we can drop your stuff at my place and then see what you guys feel like doing. Any objections people?
Even if we can't check in until 3pm, I bet we can store our stuff there.

Well I was thinking it might be nice to have your stuff if you need to freshen up or anything at my place. Sea's coming off a long long long flight.

OK. So who is responsible for taking pictures and videos of all this and getting it up in the album? :)

hello everyone!

now let's all take a deep breath....

Regarding the Caggy thing: how about we all just get together on Friday and we can talk about Saturday and stuff then eh. I'm pretty much easy going with all this kind of stuff. I'm with Louise et al. It's about being on vacation. My everyday life here is far too structured. I'm trying to escape all that. Sure, we have to have some kind of schedule (I need to get back to SF in time for my flight ;)) but apart from that I'm there to have a good (and relaxing) time. This is the first holiday I've had in...er...four years or something and it'll probably be the last for quite some time so.....

...let's not "sweat the small stuff". :D

True...(the freshenin' bit): I'll be tardy and you'll all get the general idea of how uncontrollable my hair is if I haven't washed it in 24 hours when I get to the airport (believe me...it's *not* a good look)! hehehehe However, I've put an "early arrival" request in at the Opal (which I assume means the same thing there as in Oz--that I wanna get in my room before 3pm!) So we can swing by the Opal and I'll put on my Aussie charm and see if we can get our rooms eh. Thanks for the offer Jenn but let's see if we can wangle it at the hotel first.
Vain wrote:OK. So who is responsible for taking pictures and videos of all this and getting it up in the album? :)
pft! if you can't be bothered coming you miss out! :P :P ;) Come on, Vainy-Poo. I've got a double room in SF..spare bed for you buddy. Book a flight. DO it NOW!

Now...have I covered everything?

Oh everything except, geeze Louise! YOU STILL ALIVE? Trying to find you to talk is like trying to get an audience with the Queen! ;)

Well, I'm going to try and replace my crappy digital camera before the trip. The picture quality on this one was never great, and it seems to have deteriorated.

check out. some kind of americana for our overseas guests.

maybe a hoedown or a barn dance to go to?

does denver have good used book stores?

does anyplace in dever resemble The Land in anyway?

Estes Park is supposed to be very beautiful-Andelain is in New Mexico, btw.

And improvisation and deciding on the fly is what all these gatherings are about. 8) :P

(I don't like clubbing either so one suggestion is that we retire to the campsite while others are out and talk, drink and have (cough) some coffee... :P :P :P )
