Three of the big Four have been poor. Arsenal have been the worse by far and they said they will go for the title this year. Must be the new ground.
Liverpool have been poor but to be fair they have new players in such as Kuyt, Pennant, Bellamy, Aurelio, etc. Same for Chelsea really. People have been on their backs but they four major new singings like Ballack, Shevchencko, Boulahrouz and A Cole. Three of these haven't even played in the Premiership. Can't accept Ballack and Shevchencko to make a instant impact when they have just come from a different league. Man U are the only team that have really impressed but I would give it until December, things will change then.

Yippee, I was there and can confirm that we were fantastic. The atmosphere in the stadium was electric, and the mayhem which descended when we scored is indescribable.

Sitting pretty on top of our group :nanaparty:

Next game in October against the French - bring it on.

England are up to 4th in the FIFA World Rankings, took over Italy's spot.
Scotland are up to 36th.

Chelsea beat Werder Bremen 2-0, Ballack with his first goal and Essien.
Liverpool drew with PSV. Barcelona beat Levski 5-0 but Levski are crap anyway. Beyern beat Spartak 4-0. Roma beat some team. Morientes got a hat-trick for Valencia... strange how he couldn't do any of that for Liverpool. Inter Milan lost to Sporting Lisbon which is funny.
Tonight: Man U take Celtic... easy win for United. Arsenal play Hamburg, will be different without Henry(Foot injury). Real Madrid take on Lyon, hopefully Real Madrid lose. I think AC Milan are playing as well, though they shouldn't be in the competition(cheaters).

I reckon Celtic will lose, although not by much.

They lost 3-2 played not too bad, both teams defences were poor. It was a really soft penalty against Boruc.

I wasn't watching the game closely enough to notice that Giggs went off just after the penalty with a hamstring injury. That must explain his falling down, because there was only the slightest contact.

Nice free-kick by Nakamura.

This Sunday it will be Man U V Arsenal and Chelsea V Liverpool. Easy wins for Man U and Chelsea I think. Rangers will also win and they will go top.

One that may have slipped under the radar this week.... Derry City (my hometown) drew 0-0 with Paris St Germain in the UEFA cup!!!! This is already the furthest any Irish team has ever got in Europe. Return leg in Paris may be tricky but what have they got to lose?

Didn't slip under my radar, I thought it was a fantastic result for an Irish league team.

Well done, and good luck for the return leg.

Yay! Arsenal bet Man U 1-0. Chelsea beat Liverpool by the same result. This leaves Portsmouth top.
Rangers lost and Southampton won.

Southampton are almost leading the Championship. I don't think Saints will win it but I think they get promoted(because I am very Optimistic).

Psh, Southampton are going to win the Championship and Rangers are going to win the SPL... it is just taking awhile to get started. Come Christmas, we'll be top.

Not as good as Drogba's goals... maybe not. But still, every British side managed to win their Champions League. Chelsea will beat Barcelona easy now that Eto'o is injured.

Wenger came out and said that France should fear Scotland rather than Italy and I actually believe. England have some games coming up, hopefully we will keep up are winning streak.

Phantasm and Warmark - I will bet you are enjoying yourselves right now!

:Hail: Cadwell

I don't think I have ever, in 33 years, been ashamed to be Irish. Cyprus changed that today!
