Oh, I've posted in Mallorys. I think I have 56 posts there, mostly in the "Guess the next poster" game. (People hardly ever guess me.

) That was in the early days of course.
As for what I'm doing here, I'm avoiding planning my day.

People would guess you more if you participated more.
We like at least a decent chance of our guesses being correct.

I shouldn't be here. I have stuff to do.
(You know. Stuff.)

Stuff is overrated.

On the contrary Sorus - 'stuff' is underated. I fact, what
isn't stuff! [peter affects the look of Nasic when asked by TC "What is the Sunbane?"

Yes - but why do I get all sort of cringy and uncomfortable whenever scientists start saying this kind of 'mystical' edged stuff [damn - there it is again! {stuff I mean}]

Is it mysticism? I see it more as looking at the big picture of how everything is interconnected, and there is scientific evidence to support it.

I do not like it because it makes science more of a cult/religion instead of a methodology of investigation.
Not to mention, the pretentious part of my personality likes to grumble, whilst adjusting its thick glasses on its upturned nose, things like: "Well, actually, stars come from the interaction over billions of years of a massive explosion from a singularity and various gravity and quantum fluctuations, so we are actually made up of all that stuff... but I guess that's not catchy enough to go on a shirt for a sell-out like Sagan, huh?" *guffaw*
Yeah, the pretentious part of my personality is an insufferable dweeb, and the less exercise it gets, the better

Well, at least it's putting a quasi-mystical spin on science. Dunno if that's good or bad.

I want that on a shirt.
