I just finished some baked sweet potato fries (hmm, I guess if they're not *fried*, then they're just sticks -- well, anyway) seasoned with ginger and cloves. Really easy: peel a sweet potato, cut it into sticks; spray baking pan with oil, put sweet potato sticks on the pan and spray again; sprinkle with your powdered garlic and ground cloves; bake in 400 degree oven for 30 min. or so, turning 'em over about halfway through the time. Mmmm.... (The original recipe called for salt, pepper and chili powder, so you can do 'em that way, too. I just prefer to taste the sweet potato instead of the spiciness.)

hmmm sounds good! I usually 'chip' them and bake ('ROAST'!) them with some olive oil and mixed herbs.

I am STARVING! Had a big late lunch and then a dodgy tum, so haven't eaten in 10 hours, apart from a few mini wafers of seaweed during the football, and they don't count as sustenance!

I'd love some cheesy chips (that's fries to you!)

I just had a late lunch. I made myself a gooey, stringy grilled cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread using colby-jack cheese. Yum!
