Though I hope the never acctually make a TC movie, whne I read the books I always picture this one acter as Covenant.
John Laraquet. (sp)
Yes, he's comedic actor (Dan, from Night Court in case anyone doesn't know). He did however have his own short lived darker sit-com, in which he showed forth his acting abilities. He has a nice deep voice, and can have a very serious face, with that fanatical look. From the first time I read Lord Fouls Bane, he is what I pictured TC to look like.

I'm sorry, Jon Bon Jovi? Maybe in a Terry Brooks movie...kind of simaler, one keeps writting the same book over and over again, the other keeps writting the same song over and over agian.

Hey, has anyone else seen this new show, "House, MD"? I usually think that Sean Bean would be an excellent Convenant, but the lead actor certainly has the gauntness, emotional range, and "mad prophet" eyes...

Listen Plissken, that was wrong. What you did to me, that was totally wrong. Wow, that would be a horrid animated movie, wouldn't it? I shudder to think.... although it would still be better than LOTR.

Eight fingered Thomas. Egads.

Sorry, but it had to be done. Service enables service, and all...

Oh, and as comedic actors have a track record of success in dramatic roles - How about Robin Williams as Saltheart? Whoever takes the role on is likely to be buried in latex and CGI, his face is about the right shape, and he can communicate compassion, confusion, and humor with his eyebrows alone.

Kevin Spacey voicing Foul has also appealed to me. Close your eyes during one of his rants in American Beauty, maybe you'll hear a bit of what I mean.

I could see him more as a Christopher Walkin kind of guy.

No, we need someone stately, and older, right?

What about Morgan Freeman? Or Sean Connery? :)

How about Macaulay Culkin as Lord Foul?

LOL! Would that mean we could get Michael Jackson as one of the Ravers?

Amani, cross that DDL picture with one of him in Gangs of New York. He's gotten older, but that only helps the TC portrayal.

Seth Green. Joke, right? :?

I always thought the three ravers should be... you know... ravers. Spikey hair, neon clothing, glowsticks...

You know who'd be graet for TC?
Me!
Although I have no acting experience.
...And chances are when it came to that scene, I'd keep saying, "No, Lena, in fact I don't want to see the bridge by the river, I think I'll just pack it in early tonight (yawn) Got a big day tomorrow!"
