We're undergoing some renovations at work, and they have been painting in in the suite next to mine. The stench of paint is powerful. . . one colleage likened it to a mix between parmesan cheese and farts.

Anyhow, the fumes are burning my nose and giving me a royal headache (and making me nauseated).

We did my favorite techniques in judo today, and I watched a hilarious movie afterwards. Hooray for adrenaline! It will keep me up until my paper is done (due tomorrow at 9am, barely started, 3 pages to go).

I arrived in Australia earlier today, after two days of flight and four hours of sleep. Besides being very exhausted, I'm rather depressed; I miss London. Brisbane feels empty and the people seem alien - which is weird, I know. I just loved my time in the United Kingdom . . . how I wish I could return tomorrow.
