True, but saying "You may speak to me only if I command such!" implies that I spoke to you. :P

Damn! you are correct .... let me change that! :p

Better? ;)

BTW, this is the second time you have alerted me to an inconsistency in my RP dialogue. I really appreciate that help ... sometimes I am just two fast. Please keep up the 'player' support - it is valued! :)

Is it me or has the story thread turned into a discussion thread? Perhaps the posts should be moved

You're right Dorian, brid's posts don't belong in the story and writing thread but imo the discussion or game thread was even less appropriate, so I put them in there as it was a reply to a post that Zephyr made there.

I believe they belong in the story thread because this is the story of a momentous event in Zephyr's existence. It's the interactions with other gods - namely Brid's - that is forming a powerful narrative.

All this talk of good and evil has me wondering; How do you all perceive the Void to be? Your gods I mean, as well as yourselves.

I know how I wish it to come across in my mind, but Im curious as to how it actually is coming across in game. Your comments are welcome :)

Hmmmm ...

To Madadeva it is something to ignore. It does not, as yet impinge on his consciousness since he is so self-absorbed. Also, neither the Void nor his (its? ;) ) followers are bothering him.

Subconsciously he would probably find a kinship with his perception of the desire of the void to bring all to entropy and his own desire to consume all.

The Void?
Good or Evil...
...hmmm

So far, Neutral. But I only really know reactions of The Void's followers, as the last interaction between mine and its happened before The Void was brought into being as a deity.

When treated courteously, its followers have advised mine on occasion and negotiated fairly for recompense when zealots attacked. From watching events outside my own interaction, I would say its followers are loyal and committed to arrangements made with others.

Since the manifestation of The Void, it still seems Neutral to me. Leave its followers alone to develop Enstrom (for now) as they will, and they leave you alone...

...unless its allies are threatened and help is requested.

I don't consider things as good and evil, but I wanted to offer Bel's opinion on Zephyr's thoughts on the matter. Good and evil also need not be defined as polar extremes for the suggestion of ending both to make sense.

I don't know if any ever watched the TV show "Charmed" about three witches who battle evil. One of the story arcs involved being of significant power called Avatars who proposed to replace both good and evil with their utopia. It was interesting!

Agreed. I was shocked, but it completely made sense, character-wise. Some damn great roleplaying there.

Thanks again.

No, Creator, I don't have whatever it takes to do evil. I imagine my characters will always want to work with others, and be left alone to do their own thing.

If only someone I can actually respond to had asked the question. :P

Fist, I hope you have something new lined up to step back in, would be a different game without you.
