I'm here and have Danlo's doggie loving on me hardcore. Moose is gonna be some kind of crazy jealous when I get home. It's been so good to spend some time with Lady Tam and Danlo. They are so amazing. I love them so much.

I think I have an inner ear infection. I can't walk a straight line (lean to the left) and am horribly dizzy when I walk. My left ear kind of hurts. I need to go to the doctor, but I have no car and no way of getting to one until later next week.

Today at work started with a conference room snafu, which I got sucked into unawares. Had to broker a deal between the conference room schedulers, the caterers, and a couple of partners. Then I sorted out a couple of minor client billing issues, pestered one of my attorneys for his signed corporate card voucher (I've only been after him to sign it for two weeks), made sure another of my attorneys met up with his mom for lunch (aww...), and printed out a bunch of e-mail attachments for my third attorney. For this, I get paid.

I just got off the phone with Jenn and Danlo. Lady Tam has had her surgery. It went well and she's doing fine.

I'm officially reporting in. We just got to see Lady Tam and she's in pain but she looks more awake than I expected. They only let us stay a few minutes and then they moved her into boarding for the evening. Danlo and I are taking a break, getting some dinner and then going back for visiting hours at 8. She may even have been moved into a real room by then.

Thanks! It's been a long day. Waiting and worrying really takes the mickey out of a person. I was so relieved after the Doc came in and gave us the good news I hugged him. He said the damage to her vertebrae was pretty extensive so it was a good thing they did the surgery. She's probably gonna be released on Friday but she's gonna be stuck in the neck brace for quite some time. There were some good stress releasing laughing moments before and after. We were teasing Lady Tam about asking her deepest darkest secrets while she was all doped up. Now we keep asking her "Who is Sam Brown?" and she keeps laughing and saying, "The love of her life." Then Danlo will threaten to go on the internet and hunt this guy down.
