Yeah, I suppose that it could be assumed what deity you will be playing now that you've admitted what domains you'll likely take. But no one will ever be 100% certain. It's probably inevitable that we'll make assumptions on who is playing who, because of writing style or whatever, but there will never be certainty (or at least there shouldn't be if no one reveals themselves). And the existence of that doubt alone would make for a more interesting game experience, in my opinion.Menolly wrote: ...

As far as anonymity goes, I hope to claim one of my current domains
again, so no matter what, I'm sure I'll be known. *shrug*

Understood, even though I put a link to it in Madadeva's quote in my previous post...Dagon wrote:Sorry Menolly! I didn't know such a thread existed.Menolly wrote:People...

heh
cho was known by the Grand Alliance of the Second Age long before Xar even knew I wanted to play.
I was so hesitant to join in, cho's creation has to be credited more to them than to me...
...even if they did insist I write her reveals on my own.

That's why I like using gmail. Unlimited email addresses to the same account, so unlimited user name generation on the Watch.Murrin wrote:Admittedly, the fact I'll almost certainly reuse an old account and email address wil probably give me away.

ah...Murrin wrote:I don't like clogging up my GMail with so many accounts.
But my gmail is pretty much solely used for the Gravin Threndor games, as cho's account is the primary one. They're all base heartoftheflame(AT)gmail(DOT)com with the +<username> (i.e. +Agape, +Niggle, +Tanya, +Laurel, etc.) added between the heartoftheflame and the @ sign.
Although Beorn clogged it up with those over 1,000 and counting silly college recruiting emails by putting cho's email address down on his PSAT form...
*grumble*

Nope, as I said when this came up at the launch of the game, Raucous has been around over 3500 years (well, ~3509). He's old and tough. There's nothing y'all can do to make him palatable. Young drake would be much more tender, but cho wouldn't like me making that suggestion either...Madadeva wrote:BTW, I bet "Menolly" has had to resist giving cooking ideas ... even for dragon!!![]()

I would be highly intrigued if we kept the players behind the characters a secret. I think it would eliminate many of the current alliances that automatically pop up because people are friends in RL.
I am also in favor of a new land for P4. Something fresh without all the history and power and artifacts.

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. There is no fear in love; for perfect love cast out fear.
I'd advise moving both discussions - about P4 and whether people should keep their identities secret in the future - to this thread, while leaving the Comments thread free for P3-related stuff

A) That was an IC answer... Take it to the correct thread.Menolly wrote:Nope, as I said when this came up at the launch of the game, Raucous has been around over 3500 years (well, ~3509). B) Don't underestimate cho's power. He's the Prophet of the Goddess of Healing. His flesh should be as tender as a hatchling's.

I have my reasons for not replying ~IC~The Numen wrote:A) That was an IC answer... Oh, my bad.
So then to be helpful, here's a tip: next time there's a thread about all the players being anonymous, DO NOT give away that you know the identity of one of them.
