The power "Burning Wrath" has been added to the rules section. Ymir's Wrath is a cold-based variant of that; same rules, but using extreme cold instead of heat. Olaf has the flaw Touch of Frost, so it seemed silly to have a heat-based power.

While I was at it, I added the Scourge of Alecto and Iron Heart. These three combo powers are taken from the modern Clanbook: Brujah, with some modifications.

I thought I'd take some time while I'm supposed to be paying attention in class to update everybody's xp for last week, and I'll just go ahead and do next week's early while I'm here. Sorry (once again) for the lack of posts... the quarter just started, and I'm having to get into the swing of things. Only three weeks downtime, and I lost all of my good habits.

Two Small Questions.

If we need to spend Willpower to do anything related to violence, would we need to spend one per round, or one per every action (such as with Celerity)?
...Because I sort of doubt that anyone here, even Hardestat or Jadviga, has enough Willpower to undertake all the actions those two apparently have already.
Secondly, wouldn't what Claudio is doing count as violence? He is killing another person...

Spend a willpower per instance of violence. (Which is "per person you attack", though if one were to stop fighting for a bit, then commence attacking the same person later, that would count as a second instance.)

And certainly, what Claudio is doing counts as violence.

Rafael has done well in positioning himself. Weeks ago my plan was to draw him away from the pack to exact revenge on my own. Now he charged in to the thick of things and got the two agg-dealers gunning for him.

If my arrow puts him down, do be dears and don't dust him. I'd hate to have to take revenge on him through you. (Also there's a Brujah currently not engaged with anyone.)

Anybody home?

Heh. I can stir up trouble while on the bus, even if I can't really update my own threads much. But, point taken.

I had an interesting conversation with my boss, today. It seems that he's being asked to replicate what he's done with my team into several other areas. As a result, he's having to step away from the ongoing stuff that our team does. And so, he's going to put me in charge of running all the stuff he ran, so he can be in charge of running me (and several others like me, doing the same thing for different areas). So, not a pay raise or a change in title, but it's more responsibilities. More stuff to do.

I think this means I'm going to have to give up TV. Most of the seasons are about to wrap up anyway, I guess. So I'll be giving it up whether or not I want to.

Honestly, I think what I really need is to let the OCD take over. Just embrace the calming peace of mindless tasks, and I can get through all of my work, and my new work, and DA stories, and Inferno, and all my other characters in all the other games. The crazy part of me should be all over that stuff. The sane part of me just wants to sit on the couch and watch reruns of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Mmmm. Evil Vampire Willow.

Anyway, class starts in about an hour, which I know from experience isn't enough time for me to get through a round of combat. Expect the Giovanni thread to update tomorrow afternoon.

No one can blame you for thinking of Evil Vampire Willow.

Right now she looked to be making a getaway. I'm stopping her.

We took sides against her and her group, she's not likely to be inclined to teach you anyways.

...Which is all the more reason to diablerize her. More levels of Thaum, and more variety of paths, would be very useful.

She is currently up a cliff, way above us, and making a break for freedom. If she were closer/within sight, I'd be trying to drain her myself. But she's not, and she's on the path to escaping. And making a good run of it too with her magicks.

Since we are unable to stop her at this moment and time to detain/drain her, I'm the only one who knows where she's at and some of what she's doing, so I'm trying to stop her for good.

We need more people who can incapacitate foes without dusting if we are wanting snacks. Agg damage isn't very conducive to that.

It is on my todo list, frigid incapacitating attacks.

*sigh*

I just don't see AlĂna diablerizing anyone. It doesn't seem to fit her character at all.
I guess I'll be the weakest of us overall.

It's a quick way to power, but it does have downsides. Ones GK has no qualms about playing on, though some of it may be too subtle to tie the difficulties back to that specific act. Also our weekly XP boosts us significantly.

Seska's main problem is that she learned of it from a man she shared no values with and didn't respect at all, and the Sires approve of the act. Right now she thinks of it as a way to solidify enough power to extract herself from being a pawn, but doesn't understand that devouring someone's soul has far-reaching consequences, including making powerful enemies and causing other kindred to be very wary of anyone committing the Amaranth.

That she's always aware of her nobility doesn't help. It's okay for her to suffer unpleasant consequences if it helps those she's responsible for. It's the trade-off for being privileged as far as she is concerned.

Until tonight though, she's been too close to frenzy and too stressed to really think things over. Hopefully the net -4 (-5?) frenzy difficulty and lack of Hardestadt to threaten her family will give her time to contemplate.

Net. Lunacy changes from phase of the moon going from Full to New, and something else... During most of the game she has been at +2.

That one. Alot. Watch your diets.
