In some boards, they have a strange custom of 'catching' milestone posts - if a forum-goer posts say, their 2000th post, the person whom that post was made in response to is allowed to quote it in their signature; some members build up quite a collection. Personally, I've never really seen the point in it.
I originally intended to mention when I hit the half-way point to 5000, but it looks like I missed it.

Thanks Cail. Technically doesn't count here though, they work it in blocks of 1000. Still, not far to go at this rate.
