I tried to take on Mor'Ladim tonight, but my connection dropped in the middle of my fight with him so I wound up dead.
In any case I forgot to use the bane Sven provided me with for him. I did finish killing off the plague spreaders though.
I flew off to the Wetlands to work on a couple of quests there. But they're spread apart, The Third Fleet and The Dark Iron War; and I'm 7k short of leveling, so I decided it was a good time to call it a night.

Heh. I'm tempted to try and just collect the whole set, but I think I'll stick with these two for now. I'm favouring the ram over the horse atm (that's why I bought it, after all).
Did I mention how much I like being a Paladin? I didn't have to pay a penny for training or the horse, heh.
Edit: Completed the first half of the quests in the Mithril Order chain, which I need so I can get my Armorsmithing specialisation. Got a reward of a trinket that allows me to summon for one hour an epic-quality hammer (main hand, 36.9dps). Have to level up my one-handed mace skill for a while, though.
HI, I'm more or less new to the Watch, but it's good to see a few fellow WoW'ers here. Since I live in Sweden I play on the European servers. Been playing for just about 3 years now, and I've been on the ally side from day one. Settled on a PVE realm, tried both RP and PVP but I guess I'm not hardcore enough for things to work out there. Was raiding a bit in old world end-game (MC and ZG for the most part) and now in Kara, ZA and Gruul, but I've never managed to epic out a char so far.
I have tried chars of every (ally) race and class, and those who are still around to be played are a 70 human mage (frost), a 70 human pally (holy), a 67 dwarf priest (shadow), a 52 draenei shammy (elemental/resto), a 44 dwarf warrior (fury) and a 19 gnome warlock (for blowing some steam in WSG).
Had an... eventful time today. Spent most of the day questing with Creator, then Damelon joined us for a bit. Eventually we decided to run down to Booty Bay so they could get the flight point; Luci had just come online, so she flew down and joined us. On the way, however, we accidentally got into a fight with Samantha Swifthoof, a Horde NPC flagged for PvP, and we all got flagged. Just after that, we encouter a pair of Blood Elves who proceeded to kill all of us and camp our corpses. When we gave up and rezzed at the graveyard, they moved up there too--by that point our flags vanished, but somehow Luci got flagged again and was killed. She couldn't res because the Horde players wouldn't leave and she was still showing as flagged, and eventually she gave up on coming with us, and we three continued onward without her.
Fortunately we made it to Booty Bay without much trouble after that, picked up flight points and stuff; Creator fell in the water and couldn't find the ramp, so he swam out to the island.... and was killed by the giant. We've now sailed over to Ratchet, and Damelon and I are taking a break.
Yes, an interesting day. Those BE's still tick me off, they caught us right after the fight with Samantha Swifthoof. I know I was about 75% low on mana when that started...Oh well, live and learn.
I got the fishing book in Booty Bay, which was my purpose for going. Then we took the ship to Ratchet, I just kind of checked the place out, then took a break.
When I came back, Creator and I went into the Stormwind Stockade and gained a little towards our quests, but we had an aggro problem: Since priests have no spell at our level to totally immobilize someone, the targets would often wander just a little too far and bring in some of their friends to the party prematurely. We kind of gave up on it for now.
A final indignity happened right as I was going to sign off. I was in the inn in Stormwind City, selling off some loot, when some clown portals in and bombs me.

so i gotta weigh in on the freakin corpse campers. i've just had my first motivation for pvp play. those tw*ts are lucky i didn't get their names cause i have a rogue character that i'm decidedly going to level up and play pvp. ---> [stealth emo's are hard to see] <-----
anyone pulls crap on me like that again...will see me again. but they won't see me comin.

Fishing tournament in Stranglethorn Vale today. Syl and I tried to compete; I was a bit luckier with my casts so got more of the normal fish, but he picked up one of the bonus fish. Needed 40 fish to claim; I had about 27 when the prize was won. Kept going to 40 because the flyer said you could still turn them in--but by the time I did, the prize had been dropped to 15s for 5 fish. I think if I'd gone immediately and handed in what I had when the grand prize was won I would have got a better prize. Ah well.
Syl's bonus fish got him a fishing hat, with +5 fishing skill.
