Welcome, Woodzter. Never worry about jumping in: the more you participate, the better you acclimate. And if you post something that offends us, we'll boil you in oil and then feed you to the Worm. Okay, there is no Worm. And no boiling oil. And we probably won't even be offended. But you were warned!

What do you mean, we're out of boiling oil? Do we need to send Menolly to the store to get some barrels?

Thanks for welcoming me...it's nice to meet all of you..
As for Bobby Knight...good grief, did he ever take any anger management classes????
Oh...I totally forgot to say that I am a HUGE Moody Blues fan...see them every chance I get...and I am a spoiled brat...have to sit in the first three rows. I love Christian Contemporary, too but my all time fav has to remain the Moodies!

I don't
think the Moodies have their own thread (yet!) down in
Vespers, but you're more than welcome to come post about them in the
Prog thread, or start a thread for them yourself!

Hi, I just signed up, been a fan of SRD for a long time and found this site while trying to find an appx date for the next book's release. Looks like a great board.

I suppose by way of introduction I shouldn't get too long-winded (but then I wouldn't really be myself) other than to say that I have been a fan for many years, and have written a few short stories for my own amusement in the style of Modant's Need. I suppose that in that, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Those of us who believe in parallel worlds and lives believe there is more to this Universe than currently perceived, and in that, the true story teller is a sort of traveler between worlds, and Mr. Donaldson a virtuoso guide. Kudos to you, and may your travels be long and many. Thank you for allowing us on your journeys.
