Cheval,

from Wikipedia: "Effin (Irish: Eimhin) is a parish, partly in the barony of Costlea, but chiefly in that of Coshma, in the county of Limerick. It is located 1¾ miles from Kilmallock, on the R515, the road to Charleville. The current population of the parish is approximately 1,000."

In the county of Limerick, really. Though I guess you mean something else
Effin comes from the name of an Irish Saint, St. Eimhin, pronounced Effin.
.............................................. O
That means that you are a saint Effaeldm

Although we do say 'effin and blindin' for cursing or cussin' in Ireland. I know someone from near Kilmallock. I'll ask him what Effin is like.

Right, here again.

Interesting, is using that for cursing mostly Irish in origin? I've seen a suggestion in the Urban Dictionary that it was formed as euphemism to start with - ef or eff being the sound of the 'F' letter. But if it's foremostly Irish this could have some actual connection to the mentioned above. Or not.

By the way, I've seen quite a funny sample of that used, also by someone Irish in origin, on a deviation on the DeviantArt. Warnings, just in case: a) actual swearing, without any euphemisms, b) it's not likely to be funny if you haven't seen who the people on the picture are, c) if you actually know them (that is, if you've seen Metalocalypse) that may be...

I'd better just say - it's the Dethklok as Disney female characters - Cinderella etc. And their thoughts on that. halobender.deviantart.com/gallery/6030016#/dq04mn

And, ussusimiel, coming back?

Spot on!

:LOLS: ........The colloquial is a bit off but close enough.

I don't think 'effin' is solely Irish. It's an English/Irish thing at least. Probably as you said from the 'F'.

And I won't mention who'll be next
