So I just got started. I've only done one so far. And what could be even more fun than giving a CH?? Telling you that the one I've done is YOURS!!!

Having just conferred with the SomeFather via his portable communication device (in other words, I sent him a text since he has no access to the Watch during working hours currently), he has graciously accepted the news that Alcifer was away at deadline and will allow him to submit his moves for Turn 10 late.

Yes, that's ok. But you didn't do it.

Map is updated. I probably don't have it quite right, of course. And a couple of you could give me some names for villages.

That post would have been written about 7:00 am our time, and your reply about 10:15 am his time.
It's now barely noon there.
His turn should be in your box around 4:00 pm-ish our time...

Thanks Menolly you are correct of course I sent that message before I left home and now I just got home from work and its 7pm GMT .

Well, sorry to report no progress lately. On top of all the usual stuff, buying a house takes lots of my time.

I'll possibly be able to get some done tomorrow evening. Monday will be good, because I took off work for a meeting with the mortgage company. Which won't take nearly all day. I'll also get some done Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. And next weekend will be fairly calm.

I'll definitely get it done by the end of next weekend, because we're going away the 18th-23rd.

I just got a nice chunk done. There's a couple of cool new spells out there. And something I don't really know how to classify. Part artifact; part living thing. Definitely nifty, though!

Also a bit of unpleasant contact.

I'm actually heading back to Berkeley that weekend...Fall classes start Aug 24. (Heidi is off to Pullman too...)

Daufuskie Island, in SC. My sister owns a house on the island that they rent to vacationers on a weekly basis. But she's not going to rent it out that week, and we're going to meet them there.

I wouldn't call it a paradise. My mother's going to be there, after all.

Anyway, the turn is going very nicely. I don't know if I'll get it out before the weekend, but definitely before I leave Monday. More contacts between followers in unexpected places.
