I'm just glad that the Dons will get a crack at the Champions league next year.

Got to add to our two European trophies soon.

I think Man U will win the Champions League. I don't Barcelona will do it again. It would be annoying if Real and Chelsea won it. I would like to see Liverpool win it.

4 England teams through, all topped their groups. 3 England UEFA teams through, all top their group. 1 Scottish team through to Champions League and 1 Scottish team through to UEFA and topped their group.
Now it is time for the Champions League draw.
Manchester United
Chelsea
Liverpool
Celtic

UEFA
Tottenham Hotspurs
Newcastle United
Blackburn Rovers
Rangers

The draw:
Barcelona V Liverpool
Porto v Chelsea
Celtic v AC Milan
Lille v Manchester United

Inter Milan v Valencia

My prediction on who goes through:
Liverpool :P
AC Milan
Man U
Arsenal

I think Celtic have a chance of beating AC Milan (don't laugh). If they have a good result in the 1st leg, then they might be able to hold out for the win in the San Siro.

I think Celtic could beat AC Milan but it is going to be very hard. I think it would have been better if AC Milan had the home game first because you get a better picture of what you need to do in the second game. If Celtic can get a 1-0 in the first game, they might just be able to hold AC Milan. Personally, I think all the British sides will go through.

The Old Firm derby today finished Rangers 1 - 1 Celtic. Celtic went 1 up and then were denied a stonewall penalty.
Rangers equalised with a deflected shot with only 2 minutes to go.

Which means that Aberdeen stay clear 2nd.

Rangers seem to find it difficult to keep hold of 2nd place, let alone try and get a the Title back.

Southampton are up to 4th in the Championship and if the Hearts keep going on like they are now, I can see Pressely, Hartley and Gordon all coming to join Skacel.

The title race in also interesting with Chelsea only 2 points behind Man U. Drogba = Best striker in the world.

Internacional have won the World Club Championship.

Since Lyons are out in Europe, I'll be supporting the winner of Barca v Liverpool.

Celtic over Milan is indeed a possibility.

Forest are looking good in League One. :D

Unfortunately for Scotland, a Walter Smith/Ally McCoist partnership is being bandied about on the rumour mill.

I can only hope that is a scurrilous rumour 8O

Are they leaving the Scotland job? International management is only part-time and there are two of them after all.

Going to set off for Stockport's FA Cup 3rd round tie away at Watford. They've kept clean sheets in half of their games this season, despite being bottom of the league. I don't see us getting much from the game, I just hope they don't tonk us 5-0 like Tottenham did a few years ago.

Well, Rangers season continues to get worse, dumped out of the Scottish Cup by bottom of the league Dunfermline 3 - 2. (ha ha ha, I've got to laugh   ).

Aberdeen survived a scare tonight as they equalised with 2 minutes to go in their cup tie against Hibernian. Final score 2 - 2 , and all to do again at Easter Road on Jan 18th.

Good game to watch, both attacking teams, and looking forward to the replay next week, it's not too far for me to go, so I might just go to that game, even though Hibs are robbing b*****ds and will charge extortionate prices to get in.

And the really funny thing is that both Smith and the 'Gers are getting sued.

I loved the way Beckham said it wasn't about money. Although I will concede that it's more about Posh strapping one on. :P

It's been reported that he took the position so he'd be close to Hollywood. He wants to pursue an acting career.

I severley doubt he'd be able to remember his lines.... :P
