I expect I'll be getting a half-dozen or so copies myself, for Christmas presents.

I doubt it'll be used here, but if we all agree that we're the only ones who'll buy this book, then maybe I should post a poll and see what we want our book to be titled.

Hah! I like that. Not for this, but I like it.

A poll is exactly what we don't need, dAN. Then we get disagreements and no consensus and everyone dissatisfied. Like I said before.

If you want to be dissatisfied with me, go ahead, but don't start everyone pulling in a couple dozen different directions.

Oh, I totally disagree. I mean, did you even look at the poll? It totally supports your title, which is fine with me, but I couldn't see that support here, due to seemingly diverging opinions. Now that it was put to a vote (which I clearly stated was unofficial, BTW), I can rest easy knowing that democracy has been served. So, you get on with the book, and I'll start another poll asking if I should give sgtnull my title, sell it to him, sell it to the highest bidder, or just keep it for myself.

Oh, one more thing. I never implied I was dissatisfied with you. Not even once. I just checked to make sure, too. All 11,882 posts!

I'm with DL regarding delays. I don't know exactly where we are at as far as the book being completed but we have quite a few anxious people waiting for its debut. As we get closer to November those that intend to order the book for Christmas are gradually running out of time.

I agree. I want the book on cafe press asap, so I can order them for Christmas presents!

Edge is fitting his portion in around his work, and I intend to get my finalized portion of it sent off to him before the end of this month. I'll be able concentrate uninterruptedly during my vacation.

Tom, how much ahead of time would we have to have it in to Cafepress, in order for people to give it as Christmas gifts?

I would say it should be formatted and uploaded no later than the middle of November or sooner if possible.

Thanks. We'll do as well as we can.

Can we have the names of people who volunteered to proofread? For that speed, we'll need more than one person.

Yeah, if you need me to do anything to help get this thing out before Christmas, let me know in an e-mail or a PM. I check those everyday. Just let me know.
