I loved that series!!!!
Also the Kindle has been great for me. I was an avid reader before, now its worse because I can get books cheaper and at the touch of a button.

I finished Blackout, and am now getting into All Clear. I had no idea the London Blitz was such a cool world to read about.

I just finished Bad Monkeys. Not sure about it. Think the voice was off.

Finished a couple of Robert Silverberg standalone sci-fi novels:
The Longest Way Home and
Dying Inside (reread). Both are good, he seems to use sci-fi as a vehicle for philosophic speculations which suits my taste.
I also did a reread of Tobias Hill's
The Cryptographer. Futuristic rather than pure sci-fi. Stylish. It would probably qualify as 'literary fiction' as well. (Where's lucimay to spank me for my abuse of the word 'literary'

)

I've finished a reread of Dream Finder by Roger Taylor. Taylor is a good fantasy writer, but I don't ever hear much about him. I thought his Hawklan series was very good. Anyone else read him?

Finally finished
Midnight Tides. Don't know why it took me so long, I actually really liked it in the end. Erikson's politics seemed more overt in this book, which I enjoyed. And I always appreciate his sense of humanity. (But I should probably take this to another sub-forum!)
Currently reading...
The Bonehunters. Actually I'm not quite sure what I'm reading. I just varnished a table (stupidly, in the house) and I believe I may be high. Who are you people again?

Joe Hill's Heart-Shaped Box was very good. Not sure what I'm starting next. Maybe Charles Stross' Accelerando.

I have one already Menolly. Can't you see it?

Finished a reread of Katherine Kerr and Kate Daniel's Polar City Nightmare which is basically a well-written sci-fi detective thriller. I never been able to get into Kerr's Deverry Series though I think I've tried a couple of times.
