Yep. Pretty good series. Managed to find and order the next two, apparently the last one isn't out yet.
Busy on Book 4 now, Alvin Journeyman.

I'm finishing up Shadowplay by Tad Williams (skipped the first book, since none of the libraries around here had it). I believe Williams first released it for free over the internet. It shows. Horrible, horrible editing. A lot of the dialog has been pretty bad as well, and the only thing really keeping me going through it is the plotting, which, to be totally honest, is more dense than it is tight or compelling.
After a trip to the library yesterday, I also have the second book of Glen Cook's Tyranny of the Night series, the latest Change novel by S. M. Stirling (probably won't like it or finish it, but I thought I'd give it a shot before the next one comes out. In this regard, Stirling is kind of a poor man's Martin, but at least his books come out regularly), The Clockwork Man by Mark Hodder, and Blueprints of the Afterlife by Ryan Boudinot. The last two were picked on a whim from the newer release stack because they sounded interesting, had decent reviews on the cover, and were in trade paperback (for ease of Metro reading).

I lost interest in Tad Williams after reading Shadowmarch. But his new novel, The Dirty Streets of Heaven, seems to be getting a lot of good reviews.
