Wow, so much going on!
- Sincere thanks to (the wonderful) Menolly, CJ and Lyr for the well wishes. They are much appreciated.
- Lyr, as someone who has seemingly made a career out of confusion, just take it as it goes and see how you feel. Best wishes!
- Congratulations to CJenn and A on their career changes. There are few things in life that uproot your sense of routine and normal flow as a job change. Good luck & I know you will do very well.
- Feel better soon, Stone!

And another KW urban legend is born.

Good luck with the new job, Jenn! Is the new place auto-related as well?
Speaking of new jobs, dAN, congrats to you too! And Av, good luck with the job search -- may it be brief and fruitful.
Stone -- feel better!
And Lyr -- good luck figuring out what to do... I like Andy's suggestion -- just take it as it goes.

Seareach said it first....

Thanks for the well wishes. I'm sure it's gonna all work out fine but it's still a bit sad.

She did indeed, but my line was funnier after you repeated it. Still, I guess I'd better spread the blame, huh? Thanks a lot, Sea!

Yeah, sorry about that!

Couldn't help myself! Bad Sea!
On a totally unrelated topic: I've stuffed my back so I won't be around for a while until I can actually manage to sit down for more than two mintues without feeling like I'm dying.
Catch ya all on the flip side.

Why don't you just ask me?...I mean, him.

I thought it was supposed to be a secret?
Best wishes to Jenn in her new adventure. And here's hoping that Sea heals quickly. Hugs to you both.

OWWW!..get the ibuprofen out!...gak! sorry to hear that Sea. Take care.
cJ good fortune with your new job. You haven't said what it was tho.
ww..if you are not certain,,then you are not..certain. No hurry. ( sorry dandy, but i have to keep my chances alive too)
Anyway..what a disgusting day i had. Today I found out that everything i did yesterday was a waste,,because a fellow worker had loaded the data base with bogus info. The veins in my teeth were showing. Got home and the kitchen sink( lots of mention of that recently,,hhmm,,the sign of the kitchen sink) anyway, it was plugged up. Put the plunger to it and nothing. Had to dismantle the drain and put the snake to it. Thought i had cleared the line, put it all back together and still plugged.. I lost it. I went Israeli with the plunger on the gaza strip drain line..I mean..i would have disembowled a Sandgorgon with the plunger.. if a Sandgorgon had been around,,but fortunately only a obstinate plug in the drain line was.. and apparently a few choice magic words were also required , because the mentioning of those words that had much in common with that which they were aimed at and mentioning those words at volume and intensity of almost full liberation ..seemed to be the final trick in ..indeed,, liberating the offensive blockage. Theres still magic in this world I tells ya.

Congratulations on the career change, Jenn. It's tough, but it's also an adventure! I hope you enjoy it
I feel crazy. And I probably am. Also, I leave for Hawaii (permanently) three weeks from today. I need to get rid of all my things, store what I can't part with and pack my bags with all the essentials. I don't have much in the way of Hawaii-appropriate clothing... I'm scared about that. I hope they have Value Village in Honolulu.
Hopefully I can get what I want for my car so that I can buy a scooter-like vehicle on the island. I need to be mobile. AND I'm excited to learn how to surf. That's all I want to do- (for the next month until I'm forced to get a job there.) Laze on the beach and surf and drink and... yeah. That.
So, like I mentioned in another thread- I'm going to be in Hawaii for the next three years. I had better get visits from Watchers, or I'll be very upset. And you wouldn't want to do that to me, right??

I'm gone for about a week, and Jenn leaves her job, Waddley is off to work on the show Lost, Wyldewode is attacked by Cupid, and Seareach stuffs her back into a turkey after Aliantha gives her an STD from a shared cigarette, making her swear off smoking after going quite mad. What a strange 2009 so far.
It just doesn't sound so strange anymore to annouce that I've grown breasts.

The strangest part is that I don't smoke.
Cag, I've heard of expectant dads having pregnancy symptoms, but I think you're carrying this a little too far....

And it won't seem strange for me to admit that I have become re-addicted to 21 Jump Street.

You've admitted it, Jenn. That's the first step towards recovery.
