I had a 15 minute massage earlier today. She focused on my face and neck, because I had a migraine. After the massage, my migraine was lessened for about a half hour, until I walked out into the sun....it was GLORIOUS!
But I am sad to be back at school, eating cafeteria food. The food in Venice was AMAZING and I miss it terribly.

Wow! That's a cool rumor! Wish I'd made that one up myself! Oh but actually, I would have gone with me wearing a tight fitting sequin dress and singing "Happy Birthday Mr Donaldson" like Marilyn Munroe did to JFK! That's a tad bit more classy!

Wow, a serious discussion of classical music on the Watch! That's so cool!
Opera's not one of my big things, but I did see a few live when I was in college -- "Magic Flute" and "Carmen" for sure, and I think something by Rimsky-Korssakov (did he write an opera? If not, I'm misremembering -- all I remember of it is Russian peasants bundled against the winter cold, etc.). But I played a bunch of opera overtures in band. Pretty sure "Die Meistersinger" was one of them.
I'm really tired tonight, for no good reason. Planning to toddle off to beddy-bye as soon as the laundry, and my jammies, are done.

There's been a few good classical discussions in Vespers, ali. I posted about Schubert's songs pretty recently:

And I suppose we shouldn't continue this one here, eh? We're gonna get yelled at pretty soon.

By whom?
I hardly ever poke my head into Vespers. I'll have to check it out.

I've slept six hours out of the last sixty. My head hurts and I sporadically feel nauseous. I don't do well without sleep. When I finally shift this cough (the kind that makes you hack til you almost hurl) I'll sleep for a week, whether I want to or not.

Mysteweave, if you had just waited 14 more minutes before posting you could have made a "tooth hurtie" joke! Nothing funny about real tooth pain, though. I hope that gets resolved for you as soon as possible...

Feel better guys!
I'm in insomnia land at the moment--been bad for the last couple of weeks--and I can't get anything done that I should be doing...and I'm strung out (too much coffee in the morning to keep myself awake which certainly doesn't do much for the insomnia at night).
Bah! I give up!

I'm still fighting the migraine I've had for days, but I won at bingo tonight, so everything's right with the world!!!

Yay, bingo winnings!
I successfully installed Verizon DSL this evening. Now to give Comcast the heave-ho.

Verizon's about half the cost of Comcast. The only question is why I didn't do this months ago....

Hey, make a video of it and post it on youtube. You'll give SRD sex appeal, and that might increase his sales!
Er, of course, you could face some awkward questions from your spouse and son afterwards...

Bingo win good! Migraine bad! Wishing you well -- don't spend all your winnings on Tylenol!
Back in December, I experienced my first migraine headache (I
think it was a migraine) and it lasted for a week. Ugh.

I feel grateful. I saved $190 on textbooks because someone who took the class last year was willing to sell me hers for $10 (in the bookstore it was $200).
I feel stressed. It is midnight and I have 2 more hours of homework to do (for the class I saved all that money on).
I feel relieved. My class isn't until after lunch.
I feel like procrastinating.

Well, I'm not sure I'd give SRD sex appeal; but there'd be no awkward questions. I'm sure Mr Seareach would give a hand (he knows he plays second fiddle!

).
...while I'm knocking up the SRD one, you want me to do one with me singing "Happy Birthday Mr Matrixman" too?

Thanks for all the well-wishes! My tooth has stopped hurting - yay! Though I'm eventually going to have to have two of my wisdom teeth out. What fun!

That's very witty - especially for first thing on a Monday morning.

I can't take credit for originality. That comes from a very old joke. Glad to hear you are doing better!
