Round Room is the twelfth studio album by jam rock band Phish. It was released on December 10, 2002, by Elektra Records. The album is not a traditional studio album in that it was culled from the band's unedited rehearsal sessions at The Barn leading up to their reunion concert on New Year's Eve 2002-2003 at Madison Square Garden, marking the end of their two-and-a-half year hiatus.

A bear walks into a bar and asks the bartender for a beer. The bartender says, "Sorry, we don't give beer to bears in bars."
The bear replies, "If you don't give me a beer, I'll eat that lady over there."
The bartender says, "Go ahead."
So the bear eats the lady and asks for a beer. The bartender says, ''Sorry, we don't give beer to bears on drugs.''
"What do mean," says the bear. "I'm not on drugs."
"Yes, you are, that was a barbituate."

Yes, I agree, and by the way, I like bicycles. Why don't we have a thread about bicycles? Even better would be a thread about monkeys riding bicycles? Isn't that cute?
Here, let me begin:

There is a flower within my heart
Daisy, Daisy
Planted one day by a glancing dart
Planted by Daisy Bell
Whether she loves me or loves me not
Sometimes it's hard to tell
But there are those that would share the lot
Of beautiful Daisy Bell
Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do
I'm half crazy all for the love of you
It won't be a stylish marriage
I can't afford a carriage
But you'll look sweet upon the seat
Of a bicycle built for two
We will go 'tandem' as man and wife
Daisy, Daisy
Wheeling away down the road of life
I and my Daisy Bell
When the nights dark, we can both despise
Policemen and lamps as well
There are bright lights in the dazzling eyes
Of beautiful Daisy Bell

Hey...that wasn't where I put the original post. Gee, it loses all its humor by being moved in here. Sigh.
I smell shenanigans!

Thread drift is inevitable.

How come the forum is so darn slow?

its the nature of the beast. a thread dedicated to thread drift doesn't have a clear starting point. Its a series of short vignettes, that have no connection to each other, no clear beginning or end, and because of that, there's nothing to drift from or to drift towards. So it sits here, because its more fun to drift in other threads.

I wasn't referring to this thread. I was referring to the forum in general.
I keep checking back, and there have been very few new posts on any thread.
This just seemed as good a place as any to remark on the fact that the forum overall is slow.

Everyone is at school or work or they have...a life. I am to busy changing diapers most of the time to post, draw, or sleep.

That only explains a couple of hours slowdown. That doesn't explain days worth of slowdown. Which is what I am remarking on.
Where the heck are all the usually much more active posters than me (as you can see by my postcount and the amount of time I've been here)?
Nobody gets it.

Yeah it has been pretty quiet here the past few days. Not sure why.

I get it. I've been wondering the same thing for awhile now.
We need to stir something up. You guys go first.
What? *I* can't stir anything up, I'm a mod!

As a Mod you'd have to give yourself a temp ban for stirring things up... then argue it out with yourself by using a sock puppet account only then having to ban a retread. It's like Dividing by Zero..oh shi....

Aww, sure you can.
Go ahead. You know you want to.
I dare you.
I double dare you.
