Incidentally, I was thinking maybe I should get one of those temporary phone things too. I don't expect to need it, but it can't do any harm to have one.

I only just noticed this (while going through the thread to find details about the phones). Your flight is shorter than mine. From Australia Mine's 15 hours.

Does anyone staying at the campsite in Denver have a travel backgammon or chess set? I haven't played either in years, and will probably even need to be reminded how to set the pieces to begin a backgammon game, much less make all sorts of novice mistakes, but it may be fun to play a match or three...
