Tired - it's after 4am, but it seems my procrastination is reaching dangerous levels, since recently I've been putting off sleep.

Feeling really, really stressed out this week. I was on a business trip for the last two weeks in New Orleans and now I'm trying to play catch up. The good news is that my RA has settled down enough that I have been able to get back into a regular exercise routine. Anyway, back to the hustle and bustle!

A little down. Seems when I was visiting the casino, I dropped about 15,000 WGD$ somewhere........

Yes, ever since the Vain-man introduced gambling, our tribe has fallen on hard times.

Feeling pretty good. I got a very nice compliment at work tonight from a guy I've been friends with for over 10 years. He told me if anything ever happens to my husband, not to worry, he'll be glad to take me out. He said over the years as his weight has gone up and down, he has noticed that a lot of women hit on him when he's skinny -- even some he has known for years and haven't looked at him twice when he's carrying a bit of extra weight. He says that that really bugs him, since he's the same guy on the inside whether he's carrying a few extra pounds or not. And that I am the only woman he has ever known that treats him exactly the same no matter what he weighs. 8O

I told him its just because I am always antisocial to everyone, no matter what they look like.

That's it!!!

Feeling great! Making an A in English and a B in science, of all things. I'm flabbergasted. One more week to go, and then a month and a half off. Myrtle Beach in the middle of July. Waiting for my N64 and Ocarina of Time (among other games) to come in. Nirvana is on the verge!

I feel somewhere between Meh and Moo.

I don't know what that means either.

Kinda sad and proud both this weekend. My son leaves for Army basic Training on Monday. He will be gone for six months. He sprang this on us in December and said he wanted to follow in my footsteps and go in the Army. I spent 10 years in after college and left in 93. He will start college in the spring of 06. I had never even urged him to go in but it is a great honor to me that wanted to do this. He will get a full ride in college from ROTC, but we are going to miss him dearly for the next six months. So we are trying to make this a weekend just for him (much to my girl's dismay) and have a lot of fun. :D

safetyjedi,

A career in the Army is honorable indeed! Congratulations, and I wish your son the best of luck!!

Definitely, safetyjedi. Wish him luck for me, too! :D

In other news, it's 94 degrees in Boston. Gah.

SafetyJedi, that's a very brave decision on the part of your son, and I'm sure you're justly proud of him.

In other news: I think my toes might be frost-bitten... cold, so cold....

I'm tired.

I worked hard all day.

Also, my knee hurts again.

Probably from going up and down two flights of stairs repeatedly to do my laundry.

Sniffle.

*tears*

Over it.

Gone to find a cookie.

Feeling good. I ate a TON today (relative to what I usually eat), but my youth and constant jogging cheated the bad aftereffects of overeating. I need to jot down some notes for my presentation next week on theatre during Shakespeare's life. Damn it, I hate presentations! I also hate that my college makes "communication", a class where you constantly talk in front of people, a required course.

^ Daaaaaaaaaamn. I would die in a class like that. Literally.

Still pretty meh myself. Heh.-jay

I hear some colleges offer Communication 101 via internet. Got me, how they manage the speech part, but that would definitely be my choice. :yeehaa:

It's still hot enough here to snuggle up to cold packs while I read. Almost 9:00 PM.
