Man, typical. Today is the deadline for Acropolis, so you've probably done that. You just finished sending out the Aesir turn, and you IMMEDIATELY look around for something to do, and start nagging Xar.
(Don't worry, Xar; I got your back. You take as long as you need.)

It's not the time that's driving me crazy. It's the little stories! It's like-
Something's gonna happen!
Something's gonna happen!
Something's gonna happen that Z might like!
Something's totally gonna happen!
SO WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN?!?!?!!!

You said it yourself; 'something' is gonna happen. Something Z is gonna like, it even seems.
Can't you read your own typing?

I hope Levi is up for the fight it's apparently about to get!

I'm gambling on Leviathan destroying Dagonar as punishment, myself.
And abominations in Virelle, eh? I hope none of them were as ugly as this guy, or O-gon-cho's forces wouldn't have stood a chance - they'd be too busy retching to fight:

Oh dear g-ds...
He must have imbued the other Undead with ash if cho's Light did not decimate them this time...

That ash lich reminds me of Nor Yekkith, somehow....

If Stone had posted ~IC~
cho would have responded:
*spitting in anger and frustration*
He is a lich.
Perhaps a very long lived one.
But still a lich.
He is no g-d.
Although the choice of saying he "perfected" the Undead he rose as abominations sure is reminiscent of Nor Yekith.
But he is no g-d...
...I hope...

In order to facilitate their reading, and to reduce the clutter in the game thread, I've decided to create separate threads for the Chronicles of the Red God, the Scriptures of the Seas and the Fall of Virelle. Once the three stories are completed, they'll be merged into the story and writings thread.
A couple of side notes. These stories depict the outcomes of significant events performed this turn: they are the consequences of actions performed by specific deities with their orders, and as such by the time turn 16 rolls out, their consequences will be in place. In other words - no, you can't send mails now to tell me how you'd have your followers deal with this stuff mid-turn, in case you wondered
Second, there may be one or two more such short stories, depending on the turn results for the last few deities; nevertheless, Turn 16 will be released the same day as the endings of these stories are posted - so you can look at them as a useful indicator of what's going on with the processing.
Enjoy!

If some bugger has tried to pull a fast one on uKulwa, he is going to be extremely annoyed.

Or if some fast one has tried to... never mind.

I am so glad I am not the only one wondering what the heck is going on...
I haven't the slightest idea what is so "significant" regarding cho attempting to save her former followers from the torture of a mere lich.

So, shall we start a betting pool? Which of us kicked off the end of the world?

All I'll say is it better not be attributable to cho...

Meh. It's gonna blow up. There's nothing you can do about it now. You might as well enjoy these last few moments in a bit of harmless diversion.
