Holy crap, Sea!

I thought they'd immunised the hell out of TB by now. Hope it's just someone forgot to wipe the scanner properly, or faulty X-ray film...

Sea,I hope your father is alright.Wads,I am glad you are not crushed, mashed, flattened,or otherwise traumatized.
I am quite tired and sore myself, the last day I was off I took down 2 huge oaks that my wife wanted gone.I spent several hours today cutting them up with the chainsaw and splitting the logs for firewood. The high today was 35,and after an hour or so my hands got quite numb and my nose began to run like a faucet.I feel sore and tired, but at least I am warm again.

Thanx guys. I rang my mum before and her and dad haven't heard anything. I'm looking at this as a good sign (?) since he had the ct done yesterday morning...you'd think they'd have looked at the scan by now and if it were something really bad he would have heard from the doctors by the end of today???? I dunno. Dunno how this all works. Anyway...thanks again for your support.

I hope your dad's o.k., Sea.
It's cold here this morning, 4ºF, that's -15ºC.

I'm glad things are looking better for you, Sea!

I hope they stay that way.
I feel like a rebel. I'm wearing a (very cute) hat today, and a company email went out restating the dress code which says no hats, and my boss forwarded it to me telling me to take it off. And I'm pretty much ignoring that.
Because I look cute, and don't want to ruin the outfit.
Also, because my hair under this hat hat is pretty bad and I don't want to offend any of our potential customers with my hair...

I doubt that you would Wadds. Bad hair is in the eye of the beholder.

Nah, my hair is far more offensive than my hat.
Plus, rules don't apply to me, because I'm Waddley.

Sea - hope all will be well! Wadds- I am glad you survived your near (and probably terrifying) traffic accident, and hope you survive your bad hair day, too.
It is cold here - the ice from the ice storm is still encasing all of the trees. I picked up my husband and younger son from the airport in the middle of the night, as they returned from LA. This morning my son stared out the window with huge eyes filled with wonder for over an hour, looking out at the ice shining in the sun.
Nice start to the day, with a beloved child's awe and wonder. Also -we have power. Because we have power, the electric well pump works. Because the electric well pump works, we have running water. Because we have running water, we can flush the toilets.
Flushing the toilets is like a gift from God.

On the way in to work ... stop and go traffic ... a truck read-ended me. It was a SAFETY SERVICE TRUCK!!

And the guy is a frickin supervisor (the state trooper told me so). My back bumper will need to be replaced - but really not much damage (heh, his truck's front end looked worse!), and the Escape is drivable. (I'd have been toast in my old Prius!)
I actually felt bad for the other driver ... can you imagine the sh*t he's gonna get!

(the cop felt so bad for him, he only gave him a 'warning')
Well, I made it in *sighs* All in a days drive! Now back to a busy day

Sorry about the accident, Creator

But I'm glad you're ok!!
I didn't die on my way to work this morning, thank the lord. Weather is supposed to stay in the high 30's low 40's and I've never been happier to hear that
