The AllFather precedes time and the measurement thereof. Only one outside of time could command Koel.

He chooses to phrase his commands as statements. He is no less in charge.

Surely, the All-Father controls and commands one of our nearest and dearest -

I meant, anything you care to share regarding that "Ha" in response to me saying The AllFather chooses to command none of us...

I think "ha" pretty much sums my feelings on that up. Besides, the Numen came along and stated it outright, so why should I need to repeat it?

hmm...
I was hoping more for details as to why you feel "Ha" sums up your feelings regarding that. But, cool.

I don't see being ultimately in charge necessarily as commanding the players; while we may not succeed at something, we are allowed to try various things of our own imagination. So, I disagree with the assessment that he does command us.

But I have heard of some players who justifiably may disagree with that...

Just, ah, don't bother trying not to do what he wants you to. It can be entertaining, but it's not very good for your plans. :P

As is only appropriate for one who is to us mere gods as we are to mere mortals, the AllFather does not stoop to the mere giving of commands and the expectation of obedience. He takes an approach that is far beyond, but similar in form to what George Orwell described in 1984, when he theorized that by limiting the vocabulary of the people, Big Brother could limit their ability to even conceive of disloyalty. By deciding on the shape of the world in which we exist, the AllFather may dictate to us our actions, and we will all act the way he "commands" us to, all entirely of our own free wills. This is beyond obedience or disobedience. We simply perform his bidding.

I'm sorry I haven't been around lately, but I've been busy due to my father's surgery and recovery... My brother and I have been helping around 24/7. Anyway, I'll be back to HD next week, and I promise I'll have these results out by then! Hope you're all still with me :)
