Yours? Really? *attempts to do best impersonation of Dana Carvey as The Church Lady* Could it be... SATAN said it first when he was referring to the lake of FIRE!   :lf:

Truthfully, here in my older age, anticipation of each Last Chronicles book has been the bedrock of hope when all else has been lost in my life, which has happened twice thus far. Thank you, SRD, for giving me happiness beyond what any other author can ever imagine. You are in a class of your own, and it matters not who does or does not acknowledge such- your fans are all the appreciation you'll even need. TLD, though surely tragic, will be a wonderful culmination of a saga worthy of Giants, and were Grimmand and Saltheart to incarnate they would surely weep tears of joy at your masterful tale. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your Creation, and thank the gods that I have been fortunate enough to be alive in this time to bear witness to the unfolding of this treasured benison.

Don't worry. TLD won't be tragic. It won't be the end. Just change.

A mere assumption! *blinds self* One thing- for the pleasurable enjoyment of myself and those who enjoy surprise, would you please tell me where to avoid on this site such that I NEVER hear any potential spoiler?

Be Welcome to the Watch, IO.
Be Well Come and True.

Av always says "jump in anywhere first." :)

No guarantees about avoiding spoilers anywhere here, but the admins and moderators try their best to put up spoiler tags or move a post of warranted. I've done pretty well at avoiding most inadvertent spoilers. But I avoid the hidden AATE sub-forum for now.

Yea, I'm up to about page 50 (saw what I personally wouldn't consider a spoiler, that actually made me excited to get there for page 51) and other than the previous statement in parenthesis, I'm spoiler free having stayed out of the AATE Forum. First and Second chronicles, and Runes and FR spoilers, yea, they creep in sometimes, but, I applaud the Mods (and posters) for keeping AATE spoilers non-existent (to my universe at least) outside of the "Free For All Playground" I'm tempted by but, stay away from.

I'll get 40 pages a week, maybe, reading at Lunchtimes, but, no chance to read at home right now. However, next week, I'm travelling and spending 6 hours a day in Airports and flying for two of the days, and away from home 4 nights, so I hope to get in at least 100 pages next week. Hopefully close to a 1/3 of the way through by Monday 11/15/10 (yea, yea, let's it hear from the speed readers that read it twice the first week laughing at me proud to be 1/3 of the way through at 4 weeks after release...SIGH...;) )

Personally, I'm expecting tragic. Not, perhaps, without a soupçon of hope...but tragic nonetheless. :D

Well, there's always tragic in Covenant books. I just mean it won't be the end of everything.

Ha, forgot to introduce myself. Hello, I am a lifelong sci-fi/fantasy fan. When I read the First Chronicles during my junior high years, I didn't like them but read through them anyway because I always had to finish books and find out how things are resolved. I then read the Second Chronicles only to make sure I "know" what happens in the Covenant series. I then re-read both Chronicles in college because a fellow frat brother swore by them and made me think I may have missed something. I enjoyed and related to the Chronicles much more in college. Since then I have re-read them every few years or so and love reading them each time.

Having fun reading and re-reading the Last Chronicles books published to date. Eager for TLD!

Hi All!

I've been lurking for a couple of years and have finally come out of hiding because I want to read the AATE
forum.
Just finished the book.......can't believed I cried.
