My least favorite SW character is definitely...a toss up between Jar Jar and the Ewoks but each serves an important purpose in the story with Jar Jar setting up Palpatine's power grab and the Ewoks' tear jerking victory over well armed and well trained and vastly superior imperial storm troopers, respectively.
If there was a singular moment in the Star Wars story when I wanted to gouge my eyes out it would have to be...

If there was a singular moment in the Star Wars story when I wanted to gouge my eyes out it would have to be when I realized that Jar Jar Binks was near-singleflipperedly responsible for the downfall of the Old Republic. "Mee-sah sorry to give de full powah to the SithLord-sah!"
