IOW, bring it!
Funny, I don't remember that

I always bring it :) Whether or not I win it depends on the subject matter...
OMG I'd forgotten this one!!!

That was a great win and incredibly funny, Rob, but what I was remembering was another round of WWM from ten months later in 2009.

That is Chrons scholarship, writ large and clear.

I go by Cags, Caglio, Cagliostro, or Michael (real name). But I'll also answer to "hey you," "dickhead," etc.

And ussusimiel - I find myself wanting to refer to you as the "Irish Fruit."

My apologies.

On my iPhone it's coming up Fahrenheit, on my iMac at home Celsius. Don't ask me why. :)

When I was working on a student visa in Jersey in '88 my co-workers used to call me 'Irish', as in ' Hey, Irish, top of the mornin' to ya!' It was really weird, 'cos, while I know we talk funny, we never, ever say, 'Top of the mornin'!'

I wasn't a virtual fruit at that stage, so I won't object too much if someone does call me 'the Irish fruit', at least it has the merit of being factual. I'll probably grimace if I get a 'top of the mornin'!' and I may resort to jaw-clenching if I get some (probably inevitable) 'Lucky Charms' reference

I don't know. Can the attendees pronounce Old Giantish? To get acquainted with it, the voiced alveolar trill is a good spot to begin.
Is that trill part of saying Frostheart? ;)
:P :P :P
Well, in a fashion, because I cannot pronounce "frost" sans the R rolling ever which way. My accent sounds like Bastard Scottish, in a fashion.

I'm expecting to get a few comments about online overcompensation (The sentient Gourd's taller than me!), but humming "Frosty the snowman" in the vicinity will not be tolerated.

Well, there is balance to the universe. Every gain is matched by a loss. While BB King lost his in '69 (how can you do that? isn't it always a trill??, as ali points out, Fats Domino found his in '56 on Blueberry Hill.

Well, that sucks. Bob Vardeman has a commitment too so he won't be able to present either. Luckily we have a backup plan... 8)

Shameless self-spam: taking some high-res files of drawings on an usb stick, if anyone is interested in (signed) prints (provided that there's a print shop in ALB somewhere).

(Likely not, but it's a thought...)
