I'm TIRED!!!
Less than an hour after I went to bed last night, one of my girls came knocking on my door -- her roommate was having shooting pains in her abdomen. She ended up going to the ER, and I was up half the night trading phone calls with her roommate(who went with her) and my boss, just keeping everyone informed of the situation.
She's okay, they're not sure what's wrong with her, they just think the lymph nodes around her pelvis swelled up, causing the pain. They gave her painkillers and an anti-inflammatory and sent her home. But in the meantime, I only got about 4 hours of sleep.

On the bright side, just four more days of classes before Spring Break!

I've had a chesty cough since mid-December. People keep saying I should see a doctor. Should I?

you probably should go see a doctor about it, since it's lingered for so long. It could be indicative of a deeper problem(sorry, that's my RA speaking, sometimes I have trouble getting her to shut up).

My psychology professor accidentally shredded our exams before he graded them. Instead of making us retake it, he's decided to just drop that exam from the final grade altogether. I was pretty sure I hadn't done too well on it.
To(sort of) quote one of the girls in my class: "The Gods do love me!"
And, 3 days until Spring Break!

Covjr. . . get thee to a doctor! |G

Menolly. . . don't know what you are dealing with, but running from my probelms never made them any better. Best wishes!

Owlie and Magickmaker. . . keep your chins up! And do something fun and crazy for me over your Spring Break, okay?

Lorin. . . you can do this if you take it one day at a time,

As for me, my new boyfriend is having knee surgery tomorrow, and I think I am going to be spending a lot of time with him over the next week as he recovers. I think that between my normal committments and being nurse I will be very tired. But I expect that I will get through it.

That sounds so familiar. Where have I heard that before?
Oh yes, I've been thinking that nearly every day this semester.
Here's to everyone feeling better. |G

I've had a sod of a day.

My laptop is stuffed; I managed to laugh at a really inappropriate moment when I was talking to a friend today which just really DID NOT go down that well; I did no work and Mr Seareach is home tomorrow working from home and since we're now down to one computer that means I can't work and I'm already behind since SoS has been off school because he's been sick....

...so now I'm getting DRUNK and I'm gunna get REALLY DRUNK!

nigh-nigh everyone. :P

I am so tired. And so far behind. Ugh.
At least it's almost spring break, when I can start to catch up with my homework.
It's times like these when I am extremely grateful to be unemployed.

Hugs to all having a bad day/week/life.... |G

Yesterday was the last day at work for my neighbor in the next cubicle over. I sat by her before, in our old building, but we ended up on different floors in the new place. When I was moved to her floor a few months ago, I was really excited to be sitting near her again. And now she's gone. :(

Other than that, there are a whole bunch of big things in the offing this year that I'm feeling quite anxious about, as I have no control over any of them. Consequently, I've been eating way more than I should. *Very* unhealthy coping skill. Urk.

The only explanation I've thought of so far is that it's the gum that's painful, and I'm just interpreting it as the tooth itself. If I prod the tooth or chew with it, I get excruciating pain - but that could be caused by fractional movement of the tooth within an inflamed gum. Either that or the dentist lied when he said he'd removed all the nerves.
