I recently recorded from a Westward One Concert that was broadcast on the radio a concert from 1970 or 1971.
The song list has:

EMBRYO
GREEN IS THE COLOUR

THE ATOM HEARTED MOTHER
ONE OF THESE DAYS
ECHOES

I missed out on getting SET THE CONTROLS FOR THE HEART OF THE SUN on tape though.
A long song, but a good one.

These are live preformances and is the second time I heard a Pink Floyd concert over the airwaves.
The first time was on a BBC radio broadcast several years ago.

I own The Wall, Wish You Were Here, and the Dark Side of the Moon. All kick ass. I really wanna buy Echoes, their best-of, to get into their earlier and later works. They're supposed to have quite a library. My favorite song by the Floyd is Shine On You Crazy Diamond and there are many many others that I enjoy. However, though I like the Wall, I can't listen to it too much- it really depresses me.

Mhoram, I suggest getting PF's Animals. For me, it's one of those albums you can listen to over and over.

Pulse is a killer live album! Has my fav version of Comfortably Numb..

Division Bell is good, and yes, I think Marooned is one of their best instrumentals. My favorite album is probably Wish You Were Here, although Atom Heart Mother is good also.

I have Division Bell in the car now. Momentary Lapse of Reason is my personal favorite.

Well, we started rehearsals for The Wall last night....

This is going to be so cool!! The ideas that the writing team have come up with, and the way it's being staged....it's.... very powerful. I've broken out in goosebumps several times already, upon learning exactly what we're doing for each song....and damn near cried tonight when Michael was describing the ....(choreography?)....for Goodbye Blue Sky...

But choreography is a misleading term. There's no dancing involved. It's more like silent movie acting. And I don't think it's going to come off as arty, or hokey at all. (I must admit, I was a tiny bit concerned about that... )

And Gabe is astounding us all with his aptitude for all this. He's never been on stage before, but he's picked up everything we've gone over very quickly, and retained it too. And he's heartrendingly appealing as Young Pink! I'm not the only one who's ended up with bumpy arms and damp eyes, watching him watch Daddy, as he pauses to lay the first brick in the Wall on his way to the war...

I swear it's not just 'cause I'm his mom.
