the recent club of heroes by Grant Morrison in the Batman title. collected in trade now. Grant takes a silly silver age hero club and does a fine update.

What did you think I was going to pick?
My number 2 is probably Alan Moore's Miracleman. (Marvelman everywhere but here) It's a damn shame they cant get the rights figured out so that Gaiman can finish the series! (And reprint it, it is EXTREMELY hard to find these comics, just reading them is nigh impossible.)

I hope I'm not the only one to recognize that as the box art of the original Mega Man...

Infamous as possibly the ugliest box art (for a classic game at least) of all time.
Especially cool is that there was some fake box art made for mega man 9 (AWESOME BTW!!!)
Its actually parodying the original box art. What happened was that there were strict rules in nintendo america about box art that appeared too much like anime. So this was slapped together by a localization team over here. Gotta love capcom, they have a great sense of humor about themselves. (Remember Super Puzzle Fighters 2 Turbo 2?)

My favorite would be Civil War, as it shows the world what a disgusting villain Tony Stark really is. Iron Man is a Ba$turd.
"Fortunate circumstances do not equate to high ideals."
"Mostly muffins sir."- My answer in response to the question posed by the officer, "Son, do you have anything on you I should know about?"
His response: "Holy $&!^. He's not kidding! Look at all these muffins!"
