Nah! Read HoC first. Then reread that 4-part story!

Well, I finally finished my reread of GotM. Although it took longer to read this time around, I definitely enjoyed it more. SOOOOOOOOO nice to know who everybody is! Cameo appearance? No problem!

I also completely forgot some stuff. Paran fighting the Finnest. Circle Breaker being on the boat at the end.

I just bought Bonehunters today, but that's a long way off.

it occurs prior to Gardens of the Moon

read it now...before you get to bonehunters and reapers gale
it's helpful when you get there, or at least i found it so
i read it between bonehunters and reapers gale myself because
thats when i could get it
but anytime after midnight tides and its really helpful

Possible cover art for the Subterranean Press special edition of the book, by the artist who's done some great artwork for aSoIaF, Michael Komarck.

Holy crap!!!!! 8O 8O 8O

Wait!! What?!? $125?!?!?? Oh please, give me a break!!! I was going to buy it if it was a regular re-release. I wasn't necessarily going to get GotM in hardcover, but I would have with that cover. But now...

Yeah, it's a limited edition--illustrated, high quality production, and one of only 500 printed. SubPress do a lot of these, as do PS Publishing (one of Erikson's other publishers). The lettered edition would have been even more expensive, but the collectors have already snapped those up--all 52 of them. Looks like the whole series will eventually be printed in matching editions, too.
